On arrival at one of the Lodges, you will get accustomed to the game drive by an experienced guide in a Game Drive Vehicle. There are several water holes that are in the park that your guide will travel close to in an attempt to catch the animals during their feeding time. Your guide will drive you through the park enabling you to view animals from the top of terrain. You will then be taken back to the lodge for a heavy brunch at mid day. As the suns heat cools down most animals heard for the water holes and in pursuit of game, you will be taken on your second Game Drive. It has been noted that the best of Game Viewing is when the sunsets, that is when the wild tends to flock towards watering holes and there is no other way we can suggest to see Zimbabwe Finest game. We leave before the other companies in order to get you into the park before they do, and we will handle the formalities before the tour even starts...so we will safe valuable time at the entrance and enjoy more of the safari...and can have an extra cup of tea while spotting animals. Our return thru the Savannah sunset with hopefully further sightings, you will witness the most intensive shades of yellows, oranges and reds that you have ever seen in your life. Hwange is Zimbabwe’s most renowned game park, and with good reason – the game-viewing is simply superb. Buffalo, sable antelope, kudu, roan, wildebeest, gemsbok, eland, zebra and giraffe are just some of the plains game that can be seen in Zimbabwe's largest game reserve; and with good pickings for a meal, predators also thrive, including lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena and wild dog. Hwange is perhaps best known, however, for its great herds of elephant, which number amongst the largest in Africa. Indeed, elephant populations have thrived in Hwange at the same time as they have declined across Africa as a whole. The herds roam freely between Hwange and neighbouring Chobe National Park in Botswana, but good elephant sightings can be expected in Hwange at all times of year.
