I loved this bike tour with Zeljka, she was so lovely and informative giving great insights and stories about this beautiful city. I learnt so much so quickly and it was a great way to get an overview of Zagreb. I’ve only done walking tours before and a bike tour is so much better. You get to see so much more, much more easily and it’s nice that have a breeze on your face.

Not good as the tour guide was a no show, we waited tried to call but no reply. He responded sometime later offer an afternoon tour but declined as had something on. Had to apply for a refund. Disappointing

Philip was our guide and as part of a small group tailored it to our preferences. He was knowledgeable, friendly and showed us many parts of Zagreb we would have missed by ourselves.

Valentina did an excellent job with the tour and all the information and fun trivia about Zagreb and the history ! Fun to be on bicycles !

Wonderful, charming tour guide. Very knowledgeable. We covered a lot of ground on the bike that would have been exhausting on foot.
Emily_P, Oct 2025
Our tall blond incredibly friendly tour guide knew a lot of about the history of Zagreb, offered great suggestions for places to visit in Zagreb, restaurants to try and a lot of information about the importance of sports in Croatia. Great time!

We had a great couple of hours with Iva , she was very knowledgeable and a fun person . Was a very easy ride around Downtown

Great tour and overview of Zagreb sights and history. Angelica was charming, funny and overall great
Bikes were not very current, many in disrepair and no small bikes for short women. Helmets were in poor condition. This made for a chaotic start. Of all the bike tours I have taken, this was the very least focused on road safety and keeping the group together
We still enjoyed the ride but be aware to be aware

Filip was a great tour guide. - we learned so much!!!! Glad we did bikes so that we could see more in less time.
Leslie_G, Aug 2025
Our Viator tour got included with a couple other groups! There were too many people and the guide even said so. I was given a bike without a kickstand and my husband was given a bike with one of the brakes missing. This could not have been more poorly organized and dangerous. Thus, my husband and I decided against it when we he wasn’t given a bike with both brakes and the number of people were far too many. I need a refund on this tour. We ALWAYS take Viator tours and have never experienced anything like this tour.
Response from Host, Aug 2025
We’re genuinely sorry to read your comments, as they don’t reflect what actually occurred on your tour. Safety is always our top priority—every bike is checked before departure to ensure both brakes work, and no guest was ever given a bike with missing brakes. Our guide would never start a ride if that were the case.
The group was within the maximum size listed in the tour description, and it wasn’t combined with unrelated tours. If you had a little more patience and didn`t leave before the tour start, we would have gladly checked your bikes on the spot and found another solution.
With over 90% of our guests leaving 5-star reviews, we take great pride in the safe, enjoyable experiences we deliver and regret that this review gives an inaccurate impression of our team and operation.

It was a very informative tour and our tour guide was a nice guy who would answer any questions we threw at him! Definitely recommend this tour, not too long and the bikes are comfortable so your butt doesn’t hurt after.

Very informative but relaxed pace. Philip was a great guide and gave us the inside scoop about all the sites

Was a great biking tour, the guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and funny. I enjoyed the ride and information.
Rebecca_S, May 2025
It is a nice tour. The bikes are in good shape, 8 speed.... never got out of first gear as the route was busy with pedestrians and trams/buses. Not for non bicyclists as there is cobblestone and busy maneuvering through crowds

Zeleka was an amazing guide. So friendly and informative. She took the time to explain to us the history of Zagreb relating to each part of the city we visited. She gave us recommendations for restaurants, Zeleka, if you read this we went to Tac and had a wonderful experience. Take the tour you won’t regret it. Oh, and the stop for ice cream half way through the tour was so enjoyable.

Today, I had the absolute pleasure of embarking on a bicycle tour through the beautiful streets of Zagreb, and I can confidently say it was one of the highlights of my time here. With our guide, Fillip, leading the way, the experience was not just educational but also an incredible amount of fun. If you’re considering a unique and active way to explore this city, this tour is an absolute must.
Right from the start, Fillip set a welcoming tone. His warm personality and quick wit immediately put everyone at ease, and I knew I was in for an engaging adventure. Throughout the ride, Fillip proved to be a treasure trove of knowledge, weaving fascinating stories about Zagreb’s history, culture, and landmarks into every stop along the route. What stood out most was how he made history come alive with humor and relatable anecdotes. It wasn’t just a history lesson; it felt like being transported back in time to witness the events firsthand.
The route itself was perfect, offering a mix of Zagreb’s must-see highlights and some hidden gems that I never would have found on my own. We pedaled through charming cobblestone streets, bustling squares, and serene parks, each location accompanied by Fillip’s insightful commentary. He was always mindful of the group’s pace, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and could enjoy the surroundings. Even for someone like me who enjoys cycling but doesn’t do it every day, the pace was manageable and enjoyable.
One of my favorite moments was when we stopped by one of Zagreb’s historical landmarks, and Fillip shared a particularly amusing story about its origins. His humor turned what could have been a straightforward fact into a moment of laughter and connection. It’s clear that Fillip not only knows his stuff but also genuinely loves sharing it with others. That enthusiasm is contagious, making the experience all the more memorable.
Beyond his knowledge and humor, Fillip was simply great company. He engaged with everyone individually, asking about where we were from and our experiences in Croatia so far. This made the tour feel personalized, like exploring the city with a friend rather than just a guide. His ability to make everyone feel included and valued is a rare skill, and it made the group dynamic so enjoyable.
By the end of the tour, I not only felt like I had learned so much about Zagreb’s history and culture, but I also felt a deeper connection to the city. Fillip’s passion for his hometown shines through in everything he does, and it’s impossible not to be inspired by it.
If you’re visiting Zagreb and want to see the city through the eyes of someone who clearly loves and understands it, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Fillip. Whether you’re a history buff, a casual tourist, or just someone looking for a fun and active way to explore, this tour delivers on every level. I’ll be recommending it to everyone I know!

It was a wonderful experience reaching to the beautiful Zagreb spots with a bicycle. It is a perfect activity in Summer, feeling the sunshine and soft air. Having a short coffee break with the group people and the guide is also lovely.

This was a very relaxing and enjoyable introduction to Zagreb with a terrific guide. We have had many guides during our extensive travels and Eva was one of the best - so engaging and enthusiastic.

Thank you and greetings from Iva and the Team.

Filip gave us an excellent tour of Zagreb which has a rich history. Being able to cycle around the older parts of town was more efficient than walking. I would give it 5 stars if the bikes were better.
Response from Host, Dec 2024
Thank you James, the remark on bikes is noted and will be checked on.
Joseph_B, Jul 2024
Great tour of the upper and lower areas of Zagreb. The guide was very knowledgeable of the area and explained several things that I had walked passed earlier in the week.
Response from Host, Dec 2024
Thank you!
Sian_J, Jul 2024
This tour is fantastic. An absolute must when visiting. It lasts just under 3 hours and showcases the main attractions, local historic facts and hidden gems you’d normally walk straight by.
The route is largely flat, and seeing the city by bike is a fantastic way to see it. Most of the route is along pavements, pedestrianised or gravel paths with stops are every few minutes and a break at a cafe, so it’s not at all strenuous.
One of the best tours we’ve been on. Thank you for such a lovely tour of the city.
Response from Host, Dec 2024
Thank you for the lovely review!

This was a fantastic tour!!
What a great way to cover the city, easy ride (only one real uphill). We went with our three 10 year olds and our tour guide Philip was knowledgeable, great energy, and held the kids interest with interactive questions. If your kid is able to ride with confidence I highly recommend this tour with kids!
We asked Phillip for foods to try and restaurant recommendations and they were phenomenal, thanks Phillip for a bonus experience of Zagreb!

It was our pleasure to host such a nice family! Thank you!

Friendly staff with a good knowledge of the city. A good way to see Zagreb in 2 hours. Although you might need to go back and see inside the museums/etc if you are interested.
