In the ancient Armenian mythology, the Goddess of beauty and fertility Astghik was the wife of the God of fire and war Vahagn. The hike is of medium difficulty. A professional guide will help us overcome difficulties along the way. It is desirable that your shoes should be non-slip and sportswear, clothing should be comfortable. It is better to have a hat and sunglasses with You. Be sure to take 1 liter of water and food for one day. The Akhtala fortress is supposed to have been founded in the 10th century by the Bagratuni-Kyurikyans princely family ruling this area until the end of the 12th century.
