Great trip

This was a great trip. The ferry journey was smooth, and the commentary was entertaining; pointing out many points of interest along the Swan River to Freemantle. The tour around Rottnest Island was also very good. Mark gave a great commentary, and Larry was a safe driver, allowing plenty of time to see points of interest along the route.

Highly recommend

Rottnest Island is beautiful with clear blue waters and the added attraction of the quokkas. The ferry ride to the island takes approximately 30 minutes from the ferry terminal in Fremantle. We took the guided bus tour around the island which I would recommend since it gives great context to the history of the island with stops along the way for photo opportunities. Ella, our guide, did a great job together with Larry our driver.

Don't miss Rottnest Island 💯💯

Rottnest island is a location not to be missed if you are in Western Australia. We had a great experience on board the boat to the island. Even though viator doesn't show all their trip times, I was able to change my return time to a time that was more suitable to us without any extra charge when I received my tickets. Study the map before arriving to the island. Got lost trying to find where the train was from the jetty. Get the train and do the tunnel tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and train driver very funny. Great experience with the quokkas around you while having lunch. Ferry ride was great.
