- Confirmation will be received within 48 hours of booking, subject to availability
- Near public transportation
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- Bicycles must be collected by an Adult (18+ years), or be accompanied at time of collection by a parent or guardian 18 years or older.
- Return ferry from Rottnest Island 4:00pm, arriving Fremantle approximately 4:30pm. For alternative times off the island, please contact the operator.
- Limited paid parking is available near the departure point. Please allow ample time for parking. Public transportation or a ride share is recommended
- Adult size bikes only
- Bikes must be returned to the boat crew on the same day onboard the return ferry
- Not recommended for travelers with mobility problems

The ferry was quick and the staff were lovely. The hire bike was in great condition and they do provide a helmet which was handy!

Thanks for your feedback Erin; yes, our SeaLink Hire Bieks are a great way to see the island. We always include a helmet and a bike lock with each hire.
Bikes were a lot better than the red ones we have previously used.
And I loved how the staff walked arpund offering ice pops. Very friendly staff

I have loved this day trip. Ferry service was on time and it was easy to pick up and return the bycicle. I would probably just recommend to put more care into the bikes. Mine definitely needed the gears tuned, and it was hard to cycle all around the island as things got stuck frequently. I would also recommend giving a little extra care in handing out helmets: the one that came with my bike was huge and I could not wear it properly. Thank you.

It was such a joy exploring the island by bicycle. We saw so many beautiful and exotic birds and not to mention the friendliest animal on earth, the quokka! We loved every minute on Rottnest!

Had an amazing day on Rottnest Island thanks to SeaLink’s Bike & Ferry Package 🚲🛳️. The ferry was on time and staff were super friendly. Bikes were ready to go the moment we arrived, such an easy way to explore at our own pace. If you have a hire car just follow the signed car park next to EShed and go to the back for long term day parking.
Tips from our day: bring only a small bag (you’ll be cycling all day), don’t miss the famous Rottnest Bakery for a snack, and if time’s short, loop back through the salt lakes instead of trying to do the whole island. We’re pretty fit so we almost managed the full circuit, the scenery is incredible.
Highly recommend SeaLink for a smooth, great-value way to experience Rottnest Island!
The bike was not in good condition. The seat kept sliding down, and the brakes wouldn't fully release, causing the wheels to constantly squeak. My knees are still hurting due to the low seat. Make sure to rent a bicycle from a place where you can check its condition.
From booking tickets online, to collecting our bike wrist tags to boarding the boat at Freo the process was seamless and efficient. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional and the facilities were clean, shop on board and seating spacious. The trip across to Rotto didn’t take long, the bikes were easy to use and a great way to explore rotto. Thanks Sealink my daughter and I had a fun and wonderful day at Rotto
Great day out. Beautiful island (once you get out of the landing / holiday area). Take shade and sun tan.

Not as many quaka's as expected, but beautiful scenery and friendly people. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly
the island is very beautiful, amazing experience, nice bike, but be careful i booked for the return at 4pm on the same day but they booked my return ticket for 10am😑😑like?!!! but lucky sealink ppl check it and dont make it a drama and also let me board at 4pm😑just be very careful and double check your ticket.

The boat ride company and staff are friendly and helpful. These package with the bike and safety gear was also great.
It's just a two-way ferry ticket comes with a bicycle. The way bicycle distributed among passengers was a disaster without proper management.
Fabulous day out exploring an iconic location in WA. Bikes were in good condition and the island itself is stunning. Great value for money
Perfect . This was ideally the best for anyone that wants to do it solo. It was hassle free and easy.

me and my partner came for our anniversary and it was amazinggg!! we had the best time and there was so much serenity, we are already planning to come with some mates and spend the night!!
Rottnest for us was only worthwhile because we saw some Quokkas. Other than that we found it underwhelming. Not sure what the attraction is supposed to be. I gather the hop-on-hop off bus is the way the go for many, or cycling the island if you have the time & stamina. The 'Settlement' seems popular with young bikini-clad women & shirtless muscular guys. Good luck to them. As to eateries, would highly recommend Isola Restaurant - Italian at its v. best. The bike hire aspect of our pre-booked package was poor. Still had to line up only to have to return soon with a bike with an under-inflated tyre & loose screw on the (therefore unusable) water bottle holder. It's a mad scramble to find a helmet that fits, padded seat cover or basket etc. Anyway, we ticked a bucket list item.
The freedom of going where we wanted with the bicycles was great. The yellow volunteer guides everywhere were excellent and enhanced the experience enormously. I relived a visit I did 25 years ago. It surpassed my previous journey - and my cycling prowess at 75 surprised me.
The whole experience as a whole was fun to say the least. Sharing the day with family, biking the island, lunching at Isola were all great experiences. The boat transfers were comfortable and ran on schedule. Hiring of bikes was simple and straightforward. Glad we pre-booked. The one gripe I would have is the lack of signage along the way and the distance involved. The walks do not mention how far in they go (how many metres in) so as to calculate whether you have the time to complete it etc. Apart from that we had a fantastic day!!
such amazing staff that were super understanding. I didn't get a ticket sent to me but I paid and had a reference number. with no questions they didn't make it a drama and let me attend the trip
It was fun and I loved the quokkas and the sightseeing the bike riding was fun also the shops were nice
We were caught un heavy rain when cycling. May be can have more hut for tourist to rest n hide fm rain?
Old bikes . Rusty. Brakes don’t work well. Won’t change gears well. Honestly a risk to anyones health riding them
Rottnest island is a sweet little island. Serene, calm and chilled.
I’ve an issue with viator, hence the poor rating. No fault of the island. I asked for help to change dates using the 24 hours hotline but no one picked up the phone and attended to my needs. Very poor customer service. Also the rates they quote are way more pricey than if I were to book on the spot. This is a no go sigh viator
The price was very reasonable and had a great trip over to rotto with plenty of free seats available on the fairy. What we were not happy about at all was there was no we’re at all on the website that said we needed to be over 18 to rent a bike. As my friend and I were only 15 and 16 with no parents over on the island, we had a cart poor exerience spending over an hour trying to figure out a way to get our bikes we pre paid for.
