A Marvelous Must Do Tour of Malta
Our tour guide was outstanding with his knowledge of the many important places we visited during this day trip around the entire island of Malta. We stopped in several of the sites and were allowed to stay as long as we wanted or to opt out of staying long. Joseph knew the history of the island and reviewed the time periods of the various countries claiming control of the island. Joseph also knew many locals and was able to guide us with expertise through churches, neighborhoods, shopping areas, and eating establishments, in addition to the various viewing points of interest for photo opportunities and appreciation of the surrounding ocean and communities. He treated us with respect and and kindness, and was happy to answer our direct inquiries. I highly recommend this Viator tour to all tourists new to the island of Malta. It would be worth our time to take the same tour again, as there is so much to see and enjoy, along with the enjoyment of many locals that Joseph was familiar with.

Exceptional Knowledge and history
If you’re into walking tours and learning more about the history and culture of Malta, this is exactly what you are looking for. Our guide, Marissa, provided a fountain of knowledge about Mdina, Rabat, and the history of the Maltese people and islands. In just 2 hours, my son and I learned more about Malta than we had in our previous 7 days on the islands or during our research. This tour captured and held the interest of our group (ages 19-45) and was so informative without overloading information. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get a deeper knowledge and history of Mdina and the Maltese islands.

Wonderful!
Our half day tour was perfect! Steve was amazing and timed everything perfectly showing us the highlights and filling us in on Malta's long and interesting history/culture. He was so lovely and knowledgeable. We had a really great day with him. Highly recommend!

Great experience
Lots of fun and a great way to see the island in a day. Keep in mind - this is less of a cultural tour and more of a fun experience. While the guides highlight a few of the stops - there’s little to no explanation of the cultural significance. Which was fine for us since after doing cultural tours the first half of our trip - we were looking for something more focused on fun! Would highly recommend.
