Outstanding from start to finish. A full on day at reasonable price. Picked up and transferred on time. Simple but effective safety briefs given. Lots of driving time with a few scenic stops. Lunch not to everyone’s liking but that’s a personal thing. Blue lagoon was amazing and we could just jump off the boat. Would highly recommend.

This day excursion was excellent. Everything ran very smoothly and driving in the buggy around the island was a joy. Our guide Saif was knowledgeable and easy to talk to...he did an outstanding job. We both thoroughly enjoyed the whole day...would definitely recommend it.

When booking, kindly provide your mobile number including the prefix, preferably a Whattsapp mobile number. Also note your accommodation details and we will revert with the pick up time and closest pick up point. Kindly ensure you are at the advised pick up point 5 minutes before the agreed time. Our transport company will be holding up a Yippee sign. The transport will drive you to meet the boat or ferry to cross over to Gozo. You will be returned to the original pick up/meeting point at the end of the tour. The pickup locations are determined based on Yippee locations, and once confirmed, instructions are sent via email through Viator or WhatsApp. Clients arriving with the cruise liner, kindly note that the closest pick up is from outside Magazino Hall at 8.00am and you will return approximately at 18.00hrs. Kindly note that you will be receiving a default message from your booking platform containing the WRONG/default pick-up time. The correct pick-up time and location will be sent to you by Yippee office after you book.

Roads very narrow. Guide didn’t wait for all buggies to arrive before speaking. Got left behind for 45 minutes

Would have missed our ship if it wasn't here overnight. Place was unorganized and overbooked. By the time we started the tour we were already 2.5 hours in. The tour itself was good. Saw alot and amazing place. But honestly, I would never trust them to get you back in time. Left at 8am. We got back at 6:30pm. They lost a few people along the way. Everything was delayed. Overbooked the trip. Several of us waited around. Then we were bussed again to their shop to get more quads. Nerve racking.

Dear Maryanne, Thank you for your review - we are glad you had positive comments on the actual tour. It does take 2.5 hr for the transfer from the cruise liner and the crossing over to Gozo. We apologize and acknowledge there was a delay on the return as some clients got lost and we had to delay departure by 30 minutes in order to locate them.

Overall we would highly recommend. The trip to the boat was fine. The boat an experience and the buggy tour brilliant. There was a lot of hanging around at the ferry terminal on Gozo waiting for other passengers to arrive. Perhaps an hour in total. Buggies easy and fun to drive. Lunch was just a sandwich and some pasta that the guide brought, but it was tasty enough. We stopped at some great locations and the weather was fine. Most importantly we slept in and at the start of the day missed our alloted pick up time by more than ten minutes. We have to say that the company were extremely helpful. Had talked us round to catching the fast ferry (to catch up) but then the driver came back after picking up some other passengers. 100% couldn't be faulted. Brilliant service!!!!

A really awesome day! It started off very disorganized when we arrived to Gozo and definitely took a while to get us sorted and in a van to pick up the buggies- but it was an amazing experience once we were off and running. Our guide did a great job (he was Tunisian, I didn't catch his name) and the boat ride back through the Blue Lagoon was icing on the cake!

This tour was awesome! It takes you to all the highlights of Gozo and using the buggys was a cool way to get around. The guys leading us made us feel very safe guiding us through the streets of Gozo. I had my 8 year old riding with me and she loved this experience! We did not feel rushed at all and felt like we got to see so much. Driving your own buggy was really cool too and they move pretty fast! Do not miss this experience!

Excellent journey from gozo fast ferry was an effort but the driver had alot traffic to deal with the crossing on the boat to Gozo was brilliant and also the buggy we rented was great enjoyed the trip around Gozo the only let down was when we stopped for lunch it was no choices and no coffee but other than it was fantastic.

It was a brilliant experience we went with our 3 children all over 18 and could have their own buggies or quads. Our tour guide Chris was brilliant full of crack and knowledge made it such a fun day. I would definitely be recommending to our friends. Bring a light jacket if going in December as it gets a little nippy in the evening, lunch was gorgeous very traditional food again I can't say anything bad it was a great day.

Absolutely fun way to get around the island and see Gozo. If you are wanting to learn anything about Gozo then this is not the tour for you. We saw lots of beautiful areas and got to swim in the lagoon. Lunch was ok. The blue lagoon was pretty but very touristy but again was nice to see it. The caves part of the your again was ok but literally was just Quick Look and leave. Was all very confusing once we got over to Gozo nobody seemed to know where we needed to go. When we finally got transferred to the buggies took over an hour to actually head off Our guide was good fun though. I would have given 5 stars had I have actually learnt something about Gozo but sadly didn’t however was a really fun trip to do

Great fun experience and worth the cost as full day & hot lunch and boat transfers all included And you get to see a lot of the island. Only thing that was very poor was the pick up from our hotel and the pick up from the dock after returning from Gozo, no representatives there to advise which of the many mini buses you needed to get to return to your actual start location.

We were picked-up by mini bus, then speed boat, and finally a mini van. Took about 40min from our pickup in Mellieha. Suggest taking water with you as not readily provided. Bottle of water is offered to purchase by the minivan for €1. Advise wearing plenty of suncream. There were several stops during the day and we were given little info about where we had stopped and we kept having to ask how long the stop was for so we knew when to get back for. Lunch was not the best but it sustained us - a very dry pasta dish. Trip around the caves and the Blue Lagoon on the way back to Gozo was beautiful.

I was very satisfied with the Buggy Island Trip – everything was so well organized and went fluently. The guides were really friendly, and I especially appreciated that we even had a Hungarian guide to explain everything clearly. Communication before the trip was excellent, and it was very easy to find the pickup points. The only small thing I missed was a bit more communication during the boat trip part, but that was just a minor detail compared to the whole experience. Driving a buggy around the island was so much fun, and for a foreigner, it was a great way to explore places where traveling by car could be difficult. Altogether, it was a really nice and unique experience that I would definitely recommend!

Wissam and the team were amazing. Driving the buggy around Gozo was great fun and a good way to see the amazing history of the island. We enjoyed a swim stop and included lunch stop. Plenty of photo ops along the way. Highly recommend the buggy over the quad especially in peak summer.

Do it, especially if you have never visited Gozo before, fantastic day out! We did have to have a slightly different experience due to self drive buggy availability, but our driver Fadii was absolutely AMAZING! He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best day! Unfortunately, we managed to lose a wallet, but even that didn't dampen our spirits and ruin our day! They even did a special shout out and presented our daughter with a birthday cupcake at lunch ☺️ We will definitely recommend to everyone, many thanks 😊

Excellent tour! It was well organized and communication was excellent. Max and Jonathan were our two guides for the all-day buggy ride on Gozo. They were accommodating to the needs of the group. They even accommodated my gluten free needs at lunch. We ate lunch in a quaint town that was locally owned. They served traditional Maltese food. We saw parts of the island that we wouldn't have seen without being on a buggy. I highly recommend this tour.

A Great Day on Gozo

A really excellent day out. It was well organised, and the Yippee team worked hard to make the day successful for all. The hotel pick up was on time, the boat transfer from Malta to Gozo was interesting, then a shot ride from the port to our transport for the day, a covered buggy (just a little protection from the sun). Our guides for the day were Mat and Jonathan, and they were excellent, really helpful and a really good laugh and made the day special. The buggy driving was quite an experience and not to be missed. We visited some sights, stopped for lunch (main meal disappointing) and did a fair bit of off road driving (great fun). After we finished with the buggy driving it was back to the port for the boat transfer to Malta, via the Blue Lagoon at Comino Island. We stopped at the tourist sight, and the Yippee boat crew recommended we all go for a swim. I did and the boat crew lied, the water was cold!!! 😀 At least the water was refreshing. Next stop the transfer port on Malta and return transport to our hotel. I would say that this is one adventure that anyone should have a go at, no matter what age you are. It was a full day away from our hotel with lots to do and see, with lots of fun and laughs along the way. It was an expensive trip, but worth every penny with the amount packed into the day. Well done Yippee team for putting on a great adventure.

Great day out excellent value for money. Port was chaotic but the team were friendly and helpful. Got a part refund as we had booked 3 buggies but only 2 were available. Not a problem as we took turns driving,.nice to have a break!

Brilliant day out. From the start of the day we were picked up from hotel approx 8:45 from Qawra & brought to the ferry port. We boarded the ferry where it was approx a 30mins trip to land in Gozo. We were collected again & brought to the Boogy garage for a quick safety/operational briefing and off we went. Also included was a 2 course lunch about half way through the journey, all transfers, helmets, boogy insurance & loads of stops. Had such fun and very easy to operate. The tour guides were knowledgeable, patient & very friendly. One guide was leading the way with all the history/facts etc and another guide at the real back incase of any accidents, breakdowns & stragglers. Always available to take pictures for everyone too. Visited loads of sites. A seriously great day out and exceptional value for money. Scenery was stunning! Ferry crew also brings you around the sea caves & Blue Lagoon on the return journey back to Malta. Would also recommend doing the little boat journey from the Inland Lagoon, a stop on the tour, only takes 15mins for €5. We got back to the Qawra hotel where we were collected from at approx 5:25pm. Bring suncream! The whole day was brilliant & I could give 10 stars for this tour I would.

Great day out to see the amazing sights of Gozo. Loved to tuk tuk ride and the boat ride as well. Please Ty of time at each stop. Take some snacks as you don’t get lunch until around 3 pm so we were all starving. Very long day if you a the first pick up in Valletta like we were, aircon in the van note great so bring plenty of water with you.

They place me in an incorrect tour option which is the quad ride. But i ordered a tuktuk tour since i dont want to drive. They corrected it and offered me a private driver in a quad since all the tuktuks were occupied. My guy's name is Nabil. He did an excellent job and i was impressed with his courtesy, multi lingual skills and respect. I highly recommend this tour. I highly recommend Nabil if you have a chance to have him as your guide. I forgot to take a photo with him. He is an awesome lad and an asset to his company.

While our experience started out a bit rocky with a mix up we still went on a tour. So not feeling as exited and somewhat upset we got to Gozo and were in for a big surprise. I have to mention the extra mile that the owner went and personally met us at the port and apologized for all the confusion that happened. Furthermore he went even further to make sure that our experience was perfect. And since that point it was. It made a huge difference and we had the most amazing time in Gozo where our guide was always on point bringing us to the amazing views and interesting places and at the same time giving us a chance to swim anywhere we just could. This turned out to be am amazing and very memorable day!
