Our trip went great. Our driver was Budi and he arrived on time (0730) to our hotel (Grand Hyatt) and was very professional and knowledgeable. We had originally wanted to go as far north as the Handara Gate and then work our way back south. The front office felt this might be stretching things so we decided on Ubud destinations including the monkey sanctuary, waterfall, rice terrace, and temple. We hit them all up and Budi also recommended some local Ubud vendors for batik prints, silver jewelry, and coffee farm. Those visits were all interesting and not high pressure. We made it back to the hotel by 1700. The roads were crowded (it was high season in early July) but Budi knew the shortcuts and his driving was very safe. We had a second day with Budi a couple days later and took a jeep ride to the black sands of the volcano and then went white water rafting. We would definitely ride again with Budi.

Agus was an amazing driver and guide for our Mount Batur sunrise jeep tour. He was friendly, professional, and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. He made sure we were comfortable throughout the tour, drove confidently on the rugged terrain, and knew all the best spots to enjoy the sunrise and take photos. His local knowledge and positive attitude made the experience even more memorable. I highly recommend Agus to anyone visiting Mount Batur – thank you for making it such a special morning!

Cappuccino, our driver, was great! He was a great communicator and driver. He was not in control of the negatives- namely, the road conditions! There were a few ‘included’ items that were not included. We didn’t have lunch. They didn’t buy our return boat tickets. And, I think it’s important for future clients to know, that 6:30 am is the time it starts if you’re coming from Sanur. If you’re on Nusa Penida already, you’ll be picked up at 10:00 am. I was not aware of that. Also, our driver could not take us to the harbor because there were five of us with all of our luggage. So, that was another additional expense. But, it was a good day and Cappucino was a great driver. 👍
