Exhaustive walking tour of Kamakura
This was a tour for active people who do not mind putting in 12000 steps, hiking through a slightly challenging trail. We saw many shrines and temples. Toshi was our guide and she was great.

Great tour
This was a great way to see Kamakura with lots of walking in beautiful scenery. We saw lots of shrines and temples, and got to stop for snacks and little local shops along the way.

Learn about the Shrines and see mountaintop views at the same time!
We enjoyed our tour with Teiko so much. She was knowledgeable, friendly and considerate. We learned much more about the shrines, temples and people of Japan in 4 hours than we had in the 4 previous days!

Kimo San was perfectly...
Kimo San was perfectly nice and took us to all the expected sites. His English understanding was not very good which made it difficult to ask questions and have conversation. He was unable to answer basic history questions beyond those he prepared. We saw everything we wanted to see and from that perspective the day was very good.

Great walking excursion in the Kamakura Hills
Mountain pass hiking was a bit strenuous, but worth the chance to visit some of Kamakura’s more remote shrines and temples. Ended the tour with both Hasedera and the Daibutsu. On a day that was less hot (95°F / 35°C) we would have covered a few more sites, but needed to take more breaks than expected. Great experience!

Great walking tour of temples!
Great walking tour. Mark our tour guide was very knowledgeable & friendly. We had so much fun! Also enjoyed lunch at one of the temples and walking down the shopping street. He also helped us figure out which train to take to return back to Yokohama. Highly recommend this tour and if you’re lucky you’ll get Mark as your tour guide.

The best tour of Kamakura
We loved this tour! Our guide Kono-San was very friendly and knowledgeable. We saw all the places we wanted to see without feeling rushed. He helped us navigate the public transportation to/from Tokyo and within Kamakura. We had some extra-memorable experiences thanks to Kono-San that we would not have otherwise - conveyor belt sushi lunch, feeding the koi, and many more. And he took some very nice pictures of us at the sites. Thank you Kono-San!!
