Must See Tour!

Giuseppe was a great driver. He took time to explain the sights to us and shared a lot about Sicilian culture. Anna, our tour guide at the temples, was incredibly knowledgeable and allowed us the time we needed to take a lot of pictures. Riccardo Made Our Visit Memorable

Riccardo was the absolute best! It was a lot of driving from Syracusa to the Villa Romana del Casale and then even more to Agrigento and back, but he talked to us about the history of the sites and some of the history of Sicily and the drive went by quickly. He took us to a great place for lunch and made sure that everything worked out perfectly. We had a fabulous time!

Stunning sites

This isn’t really as guided tour as you are picked up and driven to the two main sites. Our driver was great, very friendly and spoke good English. However you still pay for entry to the sites and no guided tour is involved. However there is plenty of time to explore the sites on your own and time to get some lunch at Villa Romana if you need to. Having said that both sites are fascinating and Villa Romana is stunning, an incredibly well preserved building.

Exceptional!

Our driver, Eusebio was fantasric! We were picked up at hotel and driven to the Agrigento Temples and to the Scala dei Turchi IN style; a nice treat for this working girl who needed a much needed break! Fantastic!

The visit to the valley of the temples was fantastic! As outlined in the description you are only paying for the transport to the site - a very comfortable air conditioned 9 seater van. It was hot so this was perfect. On arrival you pay the site entry fee and you have the option to pay for a guide which I highly recommend. The guide was very knowledgeable. The driver for the day was friendly and helpful.

A MUST SEE! Amazing history and art.

Seeing the Valley all the temples will take you back in time to 500 BC! The temples mark the passage of time and of civilizations who conquered this area, but left behind such magnificent structures, bigger than the Greek Parthenon! Our tour guide was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable, spoke English well, and never rushed us through the sites. We saw the catacombs, he explained to us how the Ancient Greeks transported the heavy boulders up to the highest peak and he came even prepared with a book that showed us what the temples must’ve look like at the height of their splendor. Wow! We highly recommend this tour!
