This was an interesting tour at a reasonable price. Our guide (didn’t get his name) was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history and the area. Two negatives:
1. The organisation is a bit chaotic. The meeting point is actually outside the ticket office (as you can’t get in without a ticket) and not by the temple. Also our guide was running about trying to find people, so it got a bit confusing as to what was happening.
2. We did this tour during the heatwave. It was still 40c at 5pm which was overwhelming. More than half the group abandoned the tour before the end. The guide tried to keep us in the shade as much as possible but a lot of the tour is walking in the heat so be warned!

Great time, tour guide was well educated and entertaining. Beautiful ruins and a top excursion of our family Sicily trip.

Our tour guide was excellent. He was very informative. It was extremely hot which made it difficult. However our tour guide made sure we were very hydrated.

Our guided tour was very informative and worth having someone explain the history of the area. It was a relaxing stroll, the view of the city and the countryside were amazing. We were able to get very close to the temples. It is worth doing it in the late afternoon as the sun was setting and the temples were nicely illuminated for fabulous pictures. After the tour, you are able to wonder on your own to enjoy the experience more.

Interesting place to visit. It was hot! There was a small child in our group and a dog. The child was struggling and distracting. Our tour guide Rosanna was terrific.

Our tour guide Luigi was fantastic! Very interactive and knowledgeable. A late afternoon tour is the only way to see this site as it was quite hot. A must see in Agrigento

It was a very informative and interestin. Rino, the guide, was funny and engaging. Well worth the time and expense.

The guide, Mario, was very good, but please prepare for a lot of walking and bring plenty of water. The route for the tour is not a loop, so participants must either walk back to the gate on their own (uphill) or take an inexpensive 5 E shuttle. Sometimes the terrain can be rocky.

Not exclusive at all, we were closed to 20 people! The guide was good but no map was given, the audio was not very clear. Not what you expected from an exclusive tour!

Recommend the evening tour, it is a very long walking tour. But worth it. Definitely be prepared to walk and be comfortable in the heat.

The park is amazing and it is enjoyable in the day or at night. Tour was good, the tour ended 35 min early.

Was hard to understand the tour guide for the English tour. At the end, I just stopped listening, and read the plaques.

Enza is very experienced and well- researched guide. She knows her stuff. Tour was well-paced and small.

Our tour guide Annalisa is what made our tour fantastic. She explains every important detail and brings the Greek history to life.

Great, great tour! Mario was very knowledgeable, engaging, and funny. He had great explanations and stories, and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend taking this tour.

It’s a great tour of the temples. Our family of 5 from Australia enjoyed it. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly.

Met Giusepe (?) at the main gate slightly early. Very nice guy, engaging, welcoming and friendly
We were all checked in and given b god earpieces. We waited a couple of minutes over time for two missing Italians then proceeded with a mega interesting tour narrative
Explained each episode of the temples lives, the characters who influenced them and what they stood for in clear English and delivered in an easily received way
Fantastic weather, gorgeous setting sun and very very good tour.

Despite the heavy rain for the first 30 minutes a very worthwhile tour with an excellent guide who gave a very good talk on the history of the site that you could easily envisage what it was like when originally built.
Ramona_F, Oct 2025
Our guide had a tremendous knowledge of the history through the millennia and was able to weave a story based on the surnames of the people on the tour. His approach was philosophical rooted in history. I was blown away.

Luigi was an amazing tour guide and knows how to keep history “not boring” and engaging! He emphasized how important it was to know what took place at the tour and we absolutely would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!

This is a guided tour of the Temple of Juno (or Athena) and the surrounding grounds and temples. The guide gives a lively dissertation on the history of the many cities and their citizens who inhabited this location over time ("stacked one on the other"). The walk is over uneven terrain with a walk down hill mostly and a 4€ shuttle to the starting point. My wife walks with a cane and was able to complete the tour without straggling behind. I believe most visitors will have few, if any, issues traversing the landscape.

We were unable to find the correct meeting place. The tour guide would not do a refund or credit. Very disappointed.

Our guide (Reno) was amazing: incredibly erudite and enthusiastic about the subject matter of his tour as well wider topics related to Ancient Greek, Roman and other world cultures. He was the best guide we have had the pleasure of learning from during this trip to Sicily.

Very enjoyable, Hilary was full of knowledge and the 2 hours flew by with interesting facts and amazing sights ! What a place ! , 4 Temples all ontop of a hill in same place. With a fabulous surprise at the end. Would recommend.

I thought that I had booked a private tour, but it was semi-private. The guide was energetic and knowledgeable, and tried to include the kids in my family group (ages 6, 8, & 10) but because it wasn't fully private, he had to also cater to the other adults on the tour. My family group left the tour before the end, because the kids were restless.

This was a very interesting and magnificent archaeological site to visit our guy Mario
Was extremely knowledgeable. It was a walk tour and we did thoroughly enjoy it. My only suggested would be either the guide have a microphone or the participants could have hearing devices as it was difficult to hear as there were lots of other group tours going through at the same time.
Transport getting there was a little bit tricky as the bus services are very unreliable. We got dropped at the wrong gate and then had to pay three euro each to get a taxi to the other gate where we were supposed to be our Guide
