Explore the forested foothills of Rincon de la Vieja volcano with a full day combination tour from Tamarindo, and swing, slide and ride through the park’s scenic landscape. Best tour we have ever done!! We got to experience a variety of activities in one day! Our host Rainer was amazing. He told us lots of information about Costa Rica and was there to guide us through our day with such kindness. If you are contemplating which tour to do while in Costa Rica I highly recommend this one! PURA VIDA!

This excursion was A+++ all the way. The drivers to and from the excursion were so friendly helpful. When we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming. I was nervous about the ziplining but they made me feel completely at ease. Everything was so fun and we ended our outing with a delicious meal. If you are looking to do a lot in one day, this is the way to go! I could not say enough nice things about this.

Our guide Rainer, was the best we met in Costa Rica! He was so accommodating and went out of his way to ensure that our time was the best. The tour location was fantastic but Rainer truly made this a top notch experience. I can't say enough good things about Rainer. Next time we are in Costa Rica, we will be contacting him for sure!
The tour itself was outstanding. Learning about coffee, the water slide and the hot springs were fantastic. Sitting in the hot tub and watching the waterfall in the river is a memory that we will never forget. This is a definite trip to take and make sure Rainer is your guide!

It wasn’t much of a hike through the rainforest. We basically ziplined through the rainforest. The waterfall was nice and the food was excellent

We don't understand when you say that it wasn't a much Hike through the forest??.. This tour is not about walking or Hike through the forest. It is a combo with 4 activities near the volcano. Even in the description doesn't it mention a Hike through the Rain forest. I think you are confused about this tour or your review could have been for another tour instead of this one…

This tour was amazing. The staff was great. I don’t remember everyones name but alexander and the others were awesome. Explained everything to us and ease the fear of horse back riding and zip lining. They gave us the option to try one line and if we weren’t comfortable we didn’t have to complete it. Our tour guide Carlos was awesome. If i ever visit again I would definitely do this tour again.

This tour was so AMAZING!!! The guides were knowledgeable, fun-loving and very patient with our son who needed their assistance. We loved the zip lining, and the hot springs were absolutely fabulous! The whole day was great! The hot springs are stunning, with the chance to enjoy a massage listening to the sound of the waterfall. The zip lining and water slide were so fun and even the food was delicious! 100% recommend

William was our personal tour guide for the day and he was the BEST!!! Not only was he a responsible driver, but he was also polite, helpful, photographer, and great tour guide! This excursion was worth every penny and more!

Ranier was a wonderful tour guide! He picked us up at our hotel on time and we made it to the volcano park in less than an hour and a half. The ziplines 10 in total were super fun! The volcanic mud and hot springs were very relaxing. And the lunch was surprisingly delicious! My friend and I ordered the chicken and fish so that we could split both.
For the ladies--You'll want to wear workout capris/sport bra/tank top with lots of sunscreen for the first part of the trip horseback ride ziplines. Then you change in the restrooms into swimsuit for the slide and hot springs they provide towels. I wore a black bikini so my suit wasn't destroyed after the mud!

I highly recommend this tour! It was so much fun. Our tour guide pick us up in Tamarindo and escorted us to the site. We did horse back riding up the mountain to get to the zip lining. The zip line was amazing with great views and the staff was very friendly and informative. The views looking out were outstanding. We also did the 1200ft water slide. It was very fun a little scary only because it went really fast at some parts but my boyfriend loved it! Sliding the the trees was pretty amazing. My favorite part was probably the hot pools and mud bath. The volcanic mud was warm and soothing!! Then we refreshed in the hot pools!! My boyfriend and I were there alone which was very romantic. We were made fruit drinks at the swim up bar and relaxed and floated in the hot pools enjoying the trees and listening to the water and birds. We were also treated to a massage under the trees. It was so relaxing! And the lunch provided was outstanding!! I had the chicken option and my boyfriend the steak! Both were great choices!! I would definitely recommend this. It's so many great things you get to do in one! I would also recommend using the tour guide option instead of driving there yourself! Our tour guide, Rainer, was awesome!! He took some of the most amazing photos of us and helped us get to the hot pools before the rest so we could enjoy the moment with just my boyfriend and I!
I would also like to recognize what a great person he is as well. My boyfriend lost his iPhone along the way back to our resort which was two hours away, that had all the pictures of our adventure as well as others of my boyfriends daughter so you can imagine the heart ache after realizing you lost it. Rainer, after dropping us off, back tracked our steps and found my boyfriends phone and returned it to us! We are so grateful for that and for having him as our guide! He definitely made our experience more than expected!
