First, participants will be introduced to herbs that local Virgin Islanders use to cleanse their bodies and auras. The majority, if not all of the herbs, will be picked from the yard where the drum circle will occur. After learning about some of the herbs, participants will have an opportunity to cleanse their aura with a spiritual bath, what we locals call a "bush bath", with a bath made by the session leader using some of the same herbs. This part of the activity is optional, and consists of taking a small amount of the herbal mixture in the hand and sprinkling it about the body. After the introduction to the herbs and bush bath, participants will sit in a circle and choose from a variety of different percussive instruments. Participants will learn and create a traditional African-inspired rhythm and learn a local calypso (kariso) song about a major event in Virgin Islands history. If inclined, participants can dance! This experience teaches history, culture, and the arts.

Awesome!!

Super cool night kyacking!

My husband and e teen daughters were a part of the 9:00 p.m. kayaking tour leaving from the Westin. My youngest was very nervous and they absolutely made sure that she had the best time she has not stopped talking about it. My other two daughters both agreed that they would absolutely do this tour again they saw a ton of different type of fish and really cool things in the water and just loved the experience of going out in the water at night. They loved glow paint , the Tiaras , the necklaces and lights and everything that made it feel really cool and fun. They did also love that the boat was glass bottom and they could see the fish swim right underneath them. Thanks to our guides (jess and i cant recall the young mans name) on 7/27, they were awesome!!

An Unforgettable Adventure

We had an amazing experience with Seas the Day! From the moment we arrived, the owner greeted us with a warm welcome and took the time to explain everything we needed to know before heading out on the water. Our captain for the day, Hillary, was absolutely incredible. She was truly a one-person band, taking care of all seven of us while making everything look effortless. Captain Hillary really knows her stuff! She made the trip fun, educational, and unforgettable. My family and I had an amazing time and saw an incredible amount of marine life—including a shark! The boat was spotless, and all of the equipment was top-notch. A huge thank you to Captain Hillary for making our day on the water so special. We highly recommend Seas the Day and can't wait to come back!

Debbie, the chauffeur was amazing. She was very punctual and very welcoming. Dory the tour guide was excellent as well. She allowed us to ride around the island with multiple stops, giving us a proper experience of the island. Had a blast today with Sam, Dan, Michael, and Nashawn! They made sure we were taken care of from start to finish! Fast check in and a guided snorkel. We saw Barry the barracuda, sea turtles, and a ton of tropical fish. Don’t let other reviews scare you off this was an awesome tour. The sail back on the catamaran was beautiful 😍

Amazing sunset cruise

The excursion was very well organized, the staff was exceedingly friendly. Very conveniently situated on the property of Club Wyndham Margaritaville, which is perfect for those of us staying at that resort. Food was great. The drinks were OK. Bottom shelf liquor. They had beer so we can stick with that as well. The sunset is gorgeous from the water.

Highly recommended booking this private tour. Our tour guy, Ken was amazing and enjoyed learning about St Thomas and allowing us to customize our day. We drove around the island, went to Mountain Top, went to Magens Bay for a couple hours then finished at Paradise Point. Highly recommend and thought there was great value in comparison to booking an excursion through our cruise line.

So relaxing!

Relaxing sunset sail. The crew was fun and upbeat. We had snacks and plenty of booze. It was cloudy and a little windy. We were worried it wouldn’t be worth it. We were wrong! The sky was so beautiful, even with the cloud cover and the sailing was smooth. We even saw turtles while we were out!
