Sail around the island of St. John with this small-group tour. You'll sail along the North Shore until you reach a good snorkeling spot, where you'll make your first stop. Then you'll continue to the floating taco bar, Lime Out for lunch, followed by a second stop for snorkeling before you head back to your departure point.

Highly recommend this sail to get a view of St. John from the water. Our crew was Heather, Jackson, Tara & Brandon. They were absolutely amazing! They kept the vibes right and the drinks flowing the whole cruise. Jackson was super knowledgeable about the island. He shared some history and pointed out some awesome snorkeling spots. The late afternoon pizza is included in the ticket price, however the tacos are not. Make sure to bring money for tacos and Lime Out merch!

If you get motion sickness pre plan for it. Other than that the trip was absolutely a great time. The crew was amazing. The food from Lime Out and Pizza Pi was good and the snorkeling was fun!

Our tour with Kevin, Maggie, and Dave was great! They made the experience fun and memorable. We loved the tacos at Lime Out and we got unlimited drinks and pizza on board!

While the crew made this a great experience, the advertisement for this trip was false. They claim it is a 12 person max trip for a personalized experience and there was probably 50 people on the boat. I am not sure if this is a Viator fault or stormy pirates advertises this way to get more bookings. I would have not paid what I did knowing this. We did enjoy the trip though and the staff was great.

I am very sorry that you thought that there would only be 12 guests maximum. This is clearly Viator fault for misleading you.
On our website we clearly state that if 14 guests or less are booked we use our 42’ power boat; if 15 guests or more are booked we use our 55’ power catamaran.
This is why it’s always best to book direct instead of using a 3rd party.

The crew was great, I would have liked a little more info on what we were looking at, if they had a mega phone we could have heard more but they just shouted over the boat noises. It seemed over priced, since we had to buy our own lunch at Lime out..

Right from the start, the crew (Capt. Dave, Robin, Jackson, & Grant) was very attentive to all your needs refilling your drinks with a smile and describing the different beaches, you are passing as well as the islands. Lime out was a really cool experience and our favorite was the shrimp taco; we also ate spicy tuna one.
Note: we booked this excursion because it said on Viator site that there would be a maximum of 12 people and we didn’t want a big booze cruise. It ended up being over 40 people and we were disappointed by that fact. Don’t let that stop you from booking, just expect a boat full of people.

Thank you for your review. So other people are aware, Viator’s descriptions are written by AI (artificial intelligence) and continually charge based on what people are looking for.
2 years ago our company operated this trip with a maximum of 12 guests and there are those reviews and comments that Viator’s AI bots pick up and they keep changing the description no matter how many times we (Stormy Pirates) ask them not to.
I am very sorry this happened and why you should always search multiple sights when booking an experience.

If you are looking for a small group where you can just take it easy all day. This is it. You can snorkel or not. Stay on the boat & tan. Lime Out was such a cool experience, but know you pay for that experience. Cruising the Caribbean is simply breath taking. Lavango was a quick stop, but beautiful. Some how I lost my linen dress I bought from Lavango before we even left St. John to fly home. So sad. The crew was great. We also had pizza delivered to the boat. No complaints there either. I’m terrible with names though. I just recall Maeve’s name. We definitely enjoyed our trip.

This was our second excursion with the pirates this week. Once again, we had an outstanding day at sea! Tyler and Robyn are wonderful hosts, accommodating everything from drinks, information, to snorkeling supplies. The Lime Out stop is definitely a must along with the snorkeling and pizza party. This is a must do on the travel roster!!!!

I’m writing a review a year late, yes I know. I had to come back to this excursion. I came back to st.thomas after a year. I did different excursions this year and nothing compares to this one. The girls I got hosting, they were very vibrant and transparent. I had the best time with them ! Including the amazing tan I got that lasted me about 4 months later I will recommend and HAVE recommended this to many clients and friends.

The crew were fantastic, helpful, friendly and informative. The Gorda Pirate was spacious and there was always someone to fill your glass.
It filled all my expectations.
Saw flying fish, barracuda, etc. etc.
Just don't try to greet the barracuda like I saw one of the guests do. Look don't touch!
