Top Slovakia Desserts & Sweets in 2026

Taste Bratislava’s sweet side on a relaxed small-group walk through the Old Town, with never more than 8 guests and a licensed local guide. Your morning begins at a cozy local café in a historic setting, where you’ll enjoy a specialty coffee while your guide introduces you to Slovakia and the city’s rich history. From there, you’ll visit 4 local stops, from an elegant patisserie to a traditional restaurant, tasting a warm lunchtime dish every Slovak loves and the poppy seed pastries the city is famous for. Many of these recipes have been passed down through generations, and between bites you’ll hear the stories behind them and the traditions that shaped them. As you stroll between stops, you’ll discover the charming streets of the Old Town and hear how Bratislava went from crowning kings and queens to life behind the Iron Curtain. With a small group, there’s always time for questions, real conversation and an unhurried pace, so you can savor every bite and every story along the way.
