What are people saying about Seattle

Get to know the real Seattle!
Earl was very informative about Seattle! We learned so much about the city. He also gave us a tour of the locks where we were surprised to learn that he is the local seal “whisperer”. The seals came up out of the water to say hello during the salmon run. We would recommend this tour to anyone who would like to know more about the city.

Dennis was an amazing tour guide! Very informative about Seattle. Started at Pike Place, when to the waterfall, checked out the trolls, Derry park, checked out the Salmon at the locks. Ended up back at Pike place! Full day! Great adventure, would recommend!

Exception Day Trip
Our family had an amazing trip today to the Olympic National Park. Our guide was Marty and we throughly enjoyed the day with him. He was friendly, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. In addition the company communicated exceptionally throughout the booking process and they were able to tailor the tour for our needs. The day will be a memory that we cherish forever. The ferry ride over, time on hurricane ridge, the waterfall and crescent lake are more beautiful than I could have imagined.

Great experience! Request Casey as your guide!
This was such an awesome way to experience the Boeing factory if you are staying in downtown Seattle. Our shuttle was very comfortable and easy to locate at the Hyatt for pick up. Our tour guide, Casey, was excellent! He made sure we were all very comfortable, was a great driver, and provided excellent commentary on the drive down to the factory. He had even pre-prepared a high-quality audio recording, giving a full background and history of the Boeing company. We had a great time at the museum and on the tour and had plenty of time to browse the gift shopped afterwards. One of the guests on our tour was running about 20 minutes late and Casey very graciously waited for him to arrive before taking off, and gave us some extra time afterwards to make sure we were able to do everything we wanted to do. On the way back we had the option of a couple different drop-off spots, which was really nice! We could choose the space needle, Pike Place market, the aviation museum, or back to the Hyatt where we were picked up. This was an excellent surprise and fit our afternoon plans well after the tour! If you can request Casey for your tour guide, we would highly recommend him! Overall, this was a great experience and one we would highly recommend!

Guides Matter
So, yesterday I wrote a review of our Viator day trip to Olympic NP and how, in our opinion, the unqualified (in every measure) guide made the experience excruciating. Yesterday we experienced the opposite on a Viator day trip to Mt. Ranier NP. Our guide Mitch has a passion for Mt. Ranier. He hikes there throughout the year. He knows it's history as well as the volcano's natural features, trails, flora and fauna. Our trip began with a cheerful welcome and followed with an almost 2 hour journey to the Park replete with stories, anecdotes and tales of Mitch's personal experiences at Ranier. We had rest stops on both our travel to and from the Park, a morning stop at a coffee shop and ice cream on the return. Mitch made every part of our day, the travel and the tour special. He was with the group throughout the day and proved himself to be an advocate for Mt. Ranier and a dynamic, intellectual and congenial individual who represented the best a person can expect from a guide on an expensive experience visiting one of America's beautiful National Parks.

A Fabulous Food Tour with History of Pike Market
This was a well organized tour. Chip was really friendly & knowledgeable. We learned so much about the history of Pike Market, a non-profit organization that has a very close-knit community. The board that regulates the vendors keep a balance of vendor offerings. We sampled food from several places that have been at the market for a long time, including Beechers Cheese, Farvahar Persianan Cafe, & the dish fish market . All four of us agreed that our favorites were the chowder from Pike Chowder and gelato from Bottega Italiana.

After cruise option.
8 friends toured with Joe after our cruise and before our flight. We saw exactly what was expected and Joe included history and special comments about each stop. Pick up and drop off was smooth. City photo stops were available and lunch at Pikes Market was an adventure in itself. All went well. Joe was a great guide.

Our sunset cruise
Captain Tom and Kevin, very professional, polite and friendly crew. They were able to tailor the cruise towaard our interests and ensure we were well taken care of! Captain Tom knew extensive history in the area and Kevin helped keep the ship running smoothly. We got to sea harbor seals, a dolphin, bald eagles! Bathroom on the boat was also very nice:)

Must Do in Seattle
This is my 2nd time on an Argosy cruise, I loved it! I did the 1 hour tour 10 years ago. This time we took the 2 hour cruise from Lake Union to Pier 54. What a great experience! The views were stunning, the bar line was always short and our tour guide Tim was fantastic.

Memorable and Enjoyable!
Although we had been to Pike Place Market a number of times before, we recently took this tour and greatly enjoyed it! We would definitely recommend it to others, as we learned a lot about the history of Pike Place Market and Seattle in general. Our tour guide David, also known as "Lucky," was extremely knowledgeable and provided entertaining stories about the colorful past and current status of Pike Place Market, its diversity, as well as very tasty samples of its food and drinks! We had a wonderful time!

Fantastic Tour
It is an absolutely fantastic tour. We were able to see lots of the city and here about the history dating back to the 1800's. We went from the heart of the city to the outskirts as well. There were breaks which allowed us to get off the bus, take pictures or just rest and use the restroom.
I would highly recommend this tour. Three hours well spent.

Best Day Ever!!
This was a spectacular day!!! Alex, with Evergreen
Escapes, picked us up at our hotel, and took perfect care of us all day!! First we went to Snoqualmie Falls. Alex supplied us with water and walking sticks. She walked with us, filling us with information about the trees, their bark, the history of the falls, and an explanation of the hydroelectric power created by them. She answered all of our questions and looked after us every step of the way. She graciously took pictures of us and when we were 3/4 of the way down the rather steep, winding path to the lowest viewing spot, she left us to go all the way to the top to retrieve the van and pick us up at the bottom!!! Off we went to the home of a winery owner, where we sat in the most beautiful setting, hearing his story, tasting multiple wines!! Meanwhile Alex showed up with a huge bag and quietly set the most exquisite table— tablecloth, pottery plates, linen napkins, silverware and Pyrex dishes filled with delicious offerings!! We had the lovliest luncheon, enjoying the company, wines and food. As we continued to enjoy the company of the vintner, Alex cleared the table and put everything away. Off we went to two other wineries, where we were given personal tours by the owners, lots of time, attention, explanations and tastings!!! Oh my, what could be better?! I recommend this tour to everyone interested in having a wonderful, full, interesting day with lots of nature (the hike to the falls), lots of wine information (tours and tastings) and lots of attention from a very thoughtful and caring guide!! I didn’t even mentions the multiple drinks of every kind she had on the bus, with an entire container of snacks open a available all day!!!
