Top Santorini Bus Tours

After reviewing many tours available, this is the tour that my daughter and I really wanted to take. We were very nervous because we were arriving and departing on a cruise ship so likely drove them crazy with our messages. The tour started 1.5 hours early and lasted 6 hours from drop off to pick up. This gave us plenty of time to enjoy the learning, the wines, and the wonderful people we met on the tour. All 3 tasting stops were fantastic! One warning though, take cash. The first two stops were fine to buy wine with credit card, but the last stop is a small one family business. These were my favourite wines (I love sweet wines and liquors) and I wanted to buy one of each but didn’t have cash. Our tour guide Elias went above and beyond. He has so much knowledge of the island, the wines, the processes etc, he is also so incredibly kind. He offered to lend us cash at the last winery (I just didn’t feel right doing that). He was so concerned about making sure we got back to our ship on time that he arranged for a car to come pick us up. My daughter was chilly in the wind, he lent her his jacket, and also packed all of our bags and items into a shopping bag for us to carry easily. I would 100% recommend this tour and guide!

My husband and I traveled with neighbors on the Sun Princess. We wanted to avoid the cable car and chose this tour. The tricky part is getting your tender tickets early in the morning on the ship. We first made tour reservations for 9:00 am but moved it to 10:00 am because we worried about the tender lines. Things moved much faster than planned and we had plenty of time once we were on shore. We boarded the boat to take us to the next small port where our van was waiting. It was a very nice van with great air conditioning. Our guide, Yianni, was fantastic! I honestly cannot remember the order we visited everything, but it was amazing. Yianni knows all the best photo spots avoiding the long lines of all the people waiting to get a photo that everyone else posts on social media. He took some fantastic photos of each one in our group. It was an amazing day I will never forget. So glad we chose this tour. Do wear colors from the Santorini palette to make your photos pop.

We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide, Aris, in Santorini. Although our time on the island was very short, Aris made the absolute most of every minute we had. He was incredibly informative, efficient, accommodating, and made sure we were able to see and experience as much as possible without ever feeling rushed. His knowledge of Santorini added so much to our visit, and he was happy to adjust the tour to make the most of our limited time. We truly enjoyed our time with Aris and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Santorini!
