What are people saying about Santa Marta

Great day on the sea with great crew. Super day!
Great day and amazing way to visit secluded beaches of Santa Marta. All is super well organized from the moment you arrive at the Marina. I did it solo and we were only 2 non Spanish speakers on the boat. But both the staff and the other passengers (mostly Colombian families) were all super nice. Snacks, lunch, drinks were great (they offer you snacks and drinks all the time). The boat is spacious and clean and the crew friendly, funny and full of attention. Lot's of sun, swimming amd fun. The day went super fast. Recommend 100%

Probably my best day in Santa Marta!
One of the best thing I have done in Santa Marta. I was worried about the negative reviews and yes they tend to communicate a bit last minute. But in the end, got all infos on WhatsApp the night before the trip. Got picked up at my hotel on time (at 5:45 as my hotel was a bit further away so first on borad). Then picked up people along the way but we were in the park ready to walk at around 7:30-8:00. They take care of all entrance fees and procedure. On that day we had 36 people on the tour with 3 guides (and the bus driver). As soon as we started the hike, the groups naturally splitted around the 3 guides based on the pace
Guides tell you a lot about nature, fauna and flora (only one spoke English though). We arrived at Cabo beach at 11 (but lot to see on the walk). Then took a table for lunch at the restaurant and ordered. (not.included but good price and good food). You can leave all your stuff at the table, they watch your belongings and you can enjoy the beach for a good hour before they serve lunch at 12:00. Then another hour of beach after lunch and we make our way back at 2pm. As I was alone and a good hiker, I just did all the way back on my own at my own pace. Everybody was back in the bus by 4pm and I was back at my hotel.just right past 5pm. In summary, super well organized, good guides, amazing hike and the most beautiful beaches I have seen in Colombia

Mario took great care of...
Mario took great care of us and his passion for Minca was shining through the entire time.
Mario looked out for us and really got down to the details in each stop. We feel like we have a great sense of Minca, coffee, cacao and this area as a result of this tour. Highly recommend.

A Pleasant Experience with a Great Sailing Crew
Great, professional crew that took several guests on a ride of approximately one hour to a beach for relaxation, a great lunch, and the option of snorkeling. The beach has several people offering different types of drinks (so have cash, especially in small bills), and there are tents that a large group can split the cost for to get shade from the sun (they were approximately 130,000 or 140,000 pesos for the few hours we used one). There is no cell service available for much of the trip, which is a welcome way to unplug from your routine back home. Overall, a very nice trip and experience.

I would not recc to folks who are not very athletic or have stability issue as its pretty rugged.

Great Captain!
Great captain! Really enjoyed the experience although someone did bring a new baby onboard and it rained. It was scary to watch a new baby with no life jacket. Not the captains fault, but some people are not responsible parents. The snacks were wonderful and a beer was always offered with much concern for the passengers happiness. We really enjoyed the cruise. 5 stars Good people!

Solo bike tour in the old town
Good bike, busyvold streets abs people do not pay attention to bikes. Tour was very informative about the old history if the city. The fishing area was a highlight. As was Ana Marie's passion for the area and its history. Highly recommended for the interested in the city's history.

Great experience
It was an very informative and exciting experience. Steep hiking. Definitely recommend long pants and a long-sleeved shirt and insect repellent. The tour had some amazing views. Ronaldo the guide was very knowledgeable and fluent also in English, he explained everything very well and answered all questions. I would definitely recommend this tour. The lunch was also very yummy 😋

Lost city trek Indiana Jhoan group
It was very well planned from start to finish. Everything was as described in the details. The adventure was amazing. Great views, history, and making new friends. Hiking was very tough but breaks were provided as needed. The camps we stayed in were very nice. Our guide Jhoan and english translator Carlos were awesome. We were fortunate to have a group of similar aged and physically capable people which made the trek even better. The lost city trek was difficult but well worth it. It is something I will remember forever. Pack as light as possible because you will be carrying your bag for days. Just bring the necessities.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simply amazing!
Our boat tour at Tayrona National Park was an incredible experience. The water was pristine and clear, and the weather was absolutely perfect. We visited three beaches—Cinto, Playa Cristal, and Concha—and all of them were amazing and had their own unique charm.
Lunch was included at Playa Cristal and we ate very well; the fried fish was cooked to perfection!
A few tips for future travelers:
The Captain: Our captain, Didier, is a total gem. The ride to the beaches was a bit rocky due to huge waves, but he is very skilled and managed to minimize the impact as much as possible.
Seating Strategy: Keep in mind that if you sit at the back of the boat, you feel the waves less but you will get splashed. If you sit at the front, you feel the waves to the fullest, but we got off the ride with minimal splashes.
Sun Protection: Bring sunscreen! The sun here doesn't mess around (I ended up with a sunburn).
Would definitely recommend this tour!

Smooth Journey with a Great Chauffeur!
I had a great experience with the transportation service from Santa Marta to Cartagena. The chauffeur, Hader, was very knowledgeable, respectful, and professional throughout the journey. He made the trip smooth and enjoyable, and it was clear he knew the route well. Great guy—highly recommended!
