You will be told of places to go that you might not find on your own. Mary was a delightful host who hails from Minnesota but now lives in San Miguel with her chef husband.

Our guide Elisa was so knowledgeable and we learned such great history about the centro area of San Miguel. She also sent us many recommendations for more things to do after the tour. We enjoyed a lovely lunch and chocolate truffle was an added bonus. A great tour.

The guide spoke excellent English! There were 9 of us, so no headsets were needed. The lunch was quick and delicious! I highly recommend this tour. The guide said she would send a copy of our group photo. Hope to get that soon. Worth the money!

Our tour was amazing! And it was because of our wonderful guide, Elisa. She took her time with us and is so knowledgeable about the history of SMA. She made it so interesting. We would definitely highly recommend this tour with her. We were a group of 9.

Our San Miguel de Allende Landmarks and Gourmet Tour was an unforgettable experience! We explored the city’s most iconic sites—each one brimming with history, color, and charm—before diving into a delicious culinary journey. My favorite dish was the taco de jicama, my favorite drink was the mezcal de frutas de pasión, and my favorite postre was beautifully prepared with pan de muerto. We visited five incredible restaurants, sampling everything from creative appetizers to exquisite main courses and an indulgent dessert..
Our guide Pascal was absolutely spectacular—knowledgeable, a talented musician and passionate about sharing both the city’s history and its vibrant food culture. Their storytelling and attention to detail made the tour come alive. This experience was the perfect blend of culture, flavor, and fun. Highly recommended especially if you’re traveling solo, great way to connect with expats or other travelers.

Sam was our tour guide for the day and was ext ordinarily friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating! In addition to the local sights included on the tour he pointed out many other places of interest that we might be interested in visiting and exploring. The lunch and chocolate shop he took us to were outstanding! However, the best part of the tour was his knowledge of the area, its history, and his recommendations for the many other places we might want to explore during our month in San Miguel de Allende. We feel that we’ve made a friend in San Miguel and will definitely recommend him to others!

We learned a lot about the history and culture of San Miguel de Allende in a short amount of time. We never felt rushed. The meal at the conclusion was the perfect lunch and a visit to the chocolate shop capped it off beautifully.

We had a fantastic walking tour in San Miguel de Allende starting with a unique twist: delicious churros to kick off our adventure! We are lucky to be here for Easter. The fountains, windows, and alters are all decorated with flowers. The city is packed with tourist. But everyone is so respectful.

We had 8 friends and 2 others on this tour and Les was great. He was so knowledgeable and provided us with the highlights of the history and culture. He is so passionate and we all left with learning a lot, having fun and enjoying a super lunch at the end. Highly recommend. Ask for Les.

Elisa was absolutely wonderful, full of great information and regularly positioned us to get a better view!!!
Unfortunately, in our group of four was an ugly American who couldn’t shut up talking about himself or his travels. We unfortunately missed a lot of our tour guide’s information with him sucking the oxygen out of the spaces we were on the tour to learn about.
I would do any tour with Elisa leading it!!!

Our guide, Victor, was awesome! He passionately described the major historical landmarks in SMA without sparing any details. You will leave fulfilled and wanting to learn more. The tour ended with a fabulous traditional Mexican lunch, which Victor painstakingly described how each menu item was prepared. We lucked out with Victor.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and lunch with Sam. The group size is small (max 8) and ours was even smaller with only 7 (including my husband and I). Sam was pleasant, informative and accommodating. The lunch was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere at the restaurant with live music was perfect!

Great tour! The meeting place was not far from our hotel and our tour guide, Victor, was very prompt. And at the start of the tour he gave us complimentary churros! Victor was very knowledgeable (and funny). It was a great way to learn about the history of various buildings in San Miguel de Allende. We ended the tour by having lunch at a fabulous restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious! Very much recommend this tour.
