Morning Small Champagne House Tour
Easy meeting point to start tour and Guide was friendly and authentic knowledge based on working in the industry. The 2 small family producer visits were each unique and interesting. Appreciate the comparative experience we would not have found on our own easily. The tasting and education portions were well-timed offering the right amount of time to enjoy the caves and sip champagne. Having the opportunity to meet the house owners was a nice part of the tour. And who doesn’t love champagne for breakfast?!

It was such a wonderful tour!
The tour was absolutely wonderful! We visited so many different kinds of wineries — from local hidden gems to famous ones — and each had its own charm. Our guide was fantastic! He explained everything so clearly, and we learned so much while having a great time along the way. It was such an amazing experience — highly recommended!!

Wonderful tour and a wonderful guide.
Wow, what an experience. Raphael was our small group tour guide. There was 4 of us total and it was special. We did the tour in English. We started our tour at the Cathedral Notre Dame of Reims. A stunning 1600 year old cathedral. Raphael provided an excellent historical tour inside and out. We then began our journey through Reims with incredible history en route to our destinations in Eperney. The history, stories, vineyards, the chalk caves, countryside views and champagne houses we visited were exceptional. On our 90 minute lunch break we stopped in a local brasserie for fresh baguette and we had enough time to walk some of the Boulevard of Champagne’s to squeeze in a couple of extra tastings on our own. An exceptional trip with an exceptional guide. Thank you Raphael for a great day out and memories we will cherish forever.

Fun day of champagne
This was a fun tour and our guide was very pleasant. We started with a paired lunch at one of the champagne houses, and the food was delicious and plentiful. Each course had a different pairing. The tour included some stops for photos and site visits before a second champagne house. Our tour guide essentially led the tour and tasting at the second location, and she clearly had good knowledge of the region.

Highly recommended!
Pierre was an excellent tour guide. He is knowledgeable about the champagne process and answered all of our questions. He was friendly with and respected by the local champagne makers. We had a wonderful day traveling around the countryside and vineyards.

Would book again!
Our guide Gwendel was lovely. Knowledgeable, friendly, a delight to spend the day with. The champagne houses/tastings were great. We loved experiencing a big house and a small family production. And lunch was a special treat! Highly recommend the tour.

Excellent tour for champagne lovers!
Our tour was at the end of July. We were picked up on time, in a new, clean and very comfortable vehicle. Our driver/guide (Matisse) was very knowledgeable with perfect English (with slight charming French accent) and a great sense of humour. The information provided by Matisse was not in any way boring - it was very informative and interesting. We loved the chosen wineries, stops and the small restaurant for lunch (it was very delicious). We had fantastic experience and would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys smaller champagne houses!

Best Birthday Ever
This was my birthday present and it did not disappoint!! What a fantastic experience! Jerome our guide from A La Francaise Tours is the BEST! Everything was perfect! We started at Veuve Clicquot, then headed to a smaller champagne house for more tasting and lunch. We then visited the church location where Dom Perignon is buried and learned so much!! (Like he wasn't a winemaker 😅) We were able to take beautiful photos from the picturesque hillside view! We then toured what we considered "saving the best for last"--- a small family owned champagne house P. Lancelot-Royer where a husband, his wife (Marie)and brother-in-law are managing the business to take over from the parents. It was so beautiful to see the chalk caves that they built below their home. Their hospitality was phenomenal and their champagne is better than some of the bigger production houses. Thank you Marie for sharing with us! Thank you Jerome for intruding us! We're so glad we shipped two cases home. Don't miss this one folks! You'll certainly enjoy it!

Champagne eBike Tour - a Must Do!
This was a wonderful tour! Thomas was our guide and he had immense expertise in the champagne region and with champagne making process from farming through fermentation. We asked a lot of questions and we learned quite a bit. The scenes were breathtaking and very accessible with the eBikes.
We also enjoyed the champagne tastings at Le Clos Corbier and bought a couple of bottles to take home!
One suggestion - it would be worthwhile to review how the eBike works in more detail. A couple of persons in our group weren't familiar with the operation and learned it on the fly. They struggled up some hills until they learned how to engage the gears and eDrive. These persons lagged behind and it is always a good idea to make sure that everyone is able to keep up.

A great tour with Pierre
After taking another Viator tour that we didn’t like, we were hesitant to start this one. But we were more than pleasantly surprised with how much we enjoyed this tour. We took the train from Paris to Reims to begin the tour and were picked up at the station by Pierre. We were joined by another family for our group of seven in a minivan. Eight would’ve been very tight, but seven worked great.
Pierre is a native of Reims and gave us lots of history and local color all presented with a decidedly French sense of humor. We had a great tour of Veuve Cliquot, followed by lunch at a out-of-the-way French bistro, and a lovely visit to a small, family-owned champagne house. We met the family and had a great personal tour and tasting. Pierre topped off our visit by ending our day with a stop on a hilltop overlooking the villages of the area. It was beautiful! We returned to the train station and, after finding our train was running late, spent a few hours in the village of Reims, which we absolutely loved. I highly recommend ending your day with this stop. All in all, a 10 out of 10 day.

Highly recommend this tour!!
Amazing Tour!!! Anne was very knowledgeable and very interesting. I began with a private transfer to GH Mumm and then was picked up to continue to the remainder of the tour. The family grower was my favourite and you saw the process and also received tastings.

In the heart of France’s Champagne region, Reims is a wine lover’s dream destination. It’s the perfect base for visiting multiple champagne houses, where you'll learn what it takes to make the famous bubbly and sip samples along the way. There are Reims tours of renowned labels like Veuve Clicquot and small family-run farms. You can also explore Reims on foot to see its 13th-century cathedral and Roman triumphal arch or head out of town to see the World War I battlefield at Verdun.
