Experience a different slice of the Montreal food scene
We’ve done a lot of food tours and this was probably the best experience we’ve had for several reasons. Firstly the range and quality of the food stops was exceptional - particular highlights were the charcuterie, the chocolate and smoked fish, but everything was very tasty. Secondly it was refreshing to be introduced to cuisines from different neighbourhoods rather than more regular quebecois fare. But most importantly it was the relationship Danny has with the vendors and how he weaved their stories into the experience, which was enriched as a result. He is a very engaging and witty host, clearly passionate about supporting local businesses and representing the best that Montreal has to offer.
We were full but not overly so by the end of the tour. We were impressed by the way in which alternative options were provided for those with food allergies or different preferences. There was a reasonable amount of walking involved but it was all flat and manageable. Danny also left us a printed list of recommendations for food, drink, shopping and entertainment which was very helpful.

This is a terrific food...
This is a terrific food tour focusing on the cultures and cuisines of Montreal’s historic immigrant communities. We made about six stops and had very good portions of food at each (come with an appetite!) Our guide, Éric, was amazing starting the day before our tour when he reached out to confirm and information about where to meet and what to expect. He made sure the group was properly introduced to one another and was great at making everyone comfortable and welcomed. All of the food was delicious along the way and since he was born and raised in Montréal he gave us great info and background about his beloved city! This was my first experience during my first visit and I’m glad this was my introduction to the city.

Not to be missed-A special treat!
This was the absolute highlight of our trip. Our guide, Luis, was so knowledgeable and personable. The stops on the tour were perfectly chosen, and the food was beyond delicious. Cannot recommend this tour enough.
Our first stop was at Va Bene for a delicious fresh tomato salad served on burrata. We then stopped at Archibald for some delicious French onion soup. Then it was on to Le Continental for some fabulous flambéd shrimp. The last stop was at Le Clan, a fabulous restaurant that prides itself on using only Quebec or local ingredients- farm to table concept. We had an arctic char that melted in your mouth followed by a their take on a bread pudding type dessert. Every restaurant paired their dish with wine or beer.
All in all, this was an excellent experience. We told the owner of the tour company Emilie that we were celebrating my recent retirement and we definitely felt like VIPs on this tour!

Old Quebec food and history tour
The tour was fabulous. My guide was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about the places we ate and Old Quebec. We walked around Old Quebec between meals, allowing time for each meal to settle and learning about parts of Old Quebec. The restaurants were of high quality and all the food was delicious. Definitely worth it!

Ideal tour for anyone who enjoys good food and great company.
Great company and excellent food, what more could you want?
Our guide, Lucas, took us on a tour of Little Italy which, despite the awful weather (rain in January?!!) was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours.
We started off with the most delicious foccacia sandwich at Roxy Foccacia, featuring home made bread and local produce. Then we walked, in the rain 😒 to Jean Talon Marche where we were treated to the most delicious maple ice cream, arancini, Romanian sausage and several other tasty choices. We ended up with pizza, cannoli and lattes at a local Cafe, San Gennaro. All the food choices were delicious.
Lucas was friendly and knowledgeable and both myself and my mum enjoyed ourselves enormously.
I would highly recommend this tour.

Celia was wonderful
Old Montreal Food Tour was excellent. Our tour guide Celia was very friendly and informative full of historical facts about Montreal and Canada. Get knowledge of old town and the food stops all great from poutine to pastries. It was a very personalized tour having just 6 of us which was nice and Celia is very friendly and easy to talk to. Highly recommend this tour. 5 stars

Delightful tour with Eric
We had such a delightful tour with Eric. He was so kind and considerate, he even brought a table cloth to use. All his insight and trivia questions were a delightful addition to the tour. All the food was delicious and he was quick to accommodate any likings. Felt like we were touring with a family member.

Great Tour with Ella
Ella was a fabulous guide, weaving the history of Jewish immigration and stories of current life/culture with delicious food. Lots of food!! Almost all carbs and smoked meat so not for all diets. We had a gorgeous sunny day, which always helps. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour.

Recommend!!!
We paid a bit extra for the electric bike option. Completely worth it as there were a few long hills and when travelling in a group it was difficult for some to keep up. Nicholas was a great guide. Very knowledgeable about the history of Montreal. His pride in being a Montreal’s was evident throughout the tour. Also the bagels were awesome.

Our tour guide Celine was...
Our tour guide Celine was knowledgeable and friendly. The wineries were each lovely in their own way with very nice selections for tasting. My favorite was Isle de Bacchus. The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful and out host was knowledgeable and very engaging.

Island spin, sip, and savor
A totally enjoyable day of biking amidst beautiful scenery and tasting all the delicious local food and drink of Ile d’Orleans. Our guide Mariana was fun and accommodating to the different needs of the riders and we didn’t even mind the rainy weather! Would definitely recommend!!

Great tour w a wonderful host/guide - highly recommend!
The food we sampled was very good and thoughtfully picked out (even pairing beverages w the food at the right places). Melissa was full of knowledge about the city, and not just its food culture (she was knowledgeable about that too). She has a friendly vibrant personality and is a great host. We had a bagel throw down, a smoked meat sandwich throw down and all kinds of other delicious samples including pastries and dessert. Melissa also helpfully provided book and movie references for different landmarks in the city, which we will be following up on. We were two adults w two kids and had a great time.
