What a wonderful side trip!
What a wonderful experience (again), all my Viator adventures have been great over the years and this trip out to the lavender farms with our tour guide/driver Chris was no exception. Too bad he's retiring soon though I'm so pleased for him -- he was nice, funny, and accommodating with lots of little interesting facts. If you're near Valensole, you've got to go - it's charming.

Best tour ever!
This was the best tour I've ever taken! Célestine is a wonderful guide, she is extremely knowledgeable and very warm, caring and helpful. Everyone on our tour had an exceptional day. The lavender fields were beautiful and the time we spent in the lovely village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie was a highlight for me. The stop at the lake was gorgeous and refreshing as well (bring a swim suit!). Merci beaucoup Célestine!!

Tour of a lifetime – EXCELLENT!
Our family loved this day covering tons of Provence with Emily! We all had such a lovely time together and so much fun. This family-owned business is THE BEST and they know how to make the most of your time. We were just amazed at how much we were able to see on this tour. It was very well organized, flexible, the transportation was great and the small group was perfect. The knowledge and enthusiasm Emily brings is just awesome. You will not be disappointed if your goal is to spend a day seeing fabulous areas of Provence, all while having a great time doing it! Highly recommend! Thank you Emily, you truly are amazing - Oh My Gordes!!!

Excellent Day Trip for Independent Travelers
I don't often leave reviews, but this tour absolutely deserves one.
I had just spent five days based in Provence and wanted to visit several places that, in my view, would have been difficult to reach efficiently without renting a car or constantly changing hotels. I had settled on staying first in Arles and then in Aix-en-Provence (both with museums I was keen to visit), but I also wanted to see iconic sites like Pont du Gard and the Palais des Papes in Avignon. This tour—which also incorporated Les Baux-de-Provence and a winery in Châteauneuf-du-Pape—made it possible to experience all of them in a single, well-organized day.
I felt I had enough time to appreciate each stop, and I always appreciate small-group tours that eliminate the need to drive, park, and figure out all the logistics. All in all, this trip was an excellent value and a perfect way to see some of Provence's most famous sites. As a bonus, while in Arles I had fallen in love with the legendary Mistral winds, so it was fun to return to that part of the region one last time before heading home!
Our guide, Audrey, was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating throughout the day.
One final note deserves special mention. I accidentally left my prescription sunglasses in the van after the tour. They were very important to me, and Audrey and everyone at A la Française went above and beyond to locate them and arrange for their return. That level of customer service—especially after the tour had ended—left as much of an impression on me as the tour itself.

Lovely day out with friends seeing different parts of Provence
We had a lovely morning in Aix en Provence - Tommy showed us his favourite pastry shops and introduced us to some new ones and a good meander through the markets looking at all the local producers. A boat to a couple of interesting churches too
Then it was off to a beautiful lunch in Cassis and a meander round the town, meeting up with Tommy again after lunch
We asked to cut our day short as I was not feeling well and Tommy was brilliant
I would not hesitate to recommend him and will definitely book with him again

Great Experience!
It was a great tour! Very casual and less of a group activity once you are there which was nice. Our tour guide AD was AMAZING! Overall very easy, and convenient for what we wanted to do. Had a great time. Only thing is the van is kind of small and your packed in, it was a little toasty on curvy roads.

Amazing tour and an amazing guide!
Was one of the best excursions I have had. Not only did we get to see a lot, I learned about culture, wine, and scenery. Our tour guide Celestine was truly such a wonderful person and was relatable and knowledgeable about the entirety of our tour. The wineries we visited were top notch with one being more modern and the other being a generational winery that was beautiful. After this, the Luberon section was tastefully done and didn’t feel too long or too short. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to optimize their time in France and learn and experience as much as possible. Additionally, one last shout out to Celestine, you truly were such a delight!

If you want a lovely trip...
If you want a lovely trip but don’t have time for a full day, this tour will give you an opportunity to experience a bit of the Luberon. Every stop is a “aha moment “ and the guide provides excellent commentary as you wind your way through the beautiful countryside. Thank you so much Nathalie( our guide) you did a fantastic job!

Best small group tour in Provence
Our guide Eric is a warm French countrymen with charming accent. He is friendly, professional and knowledgable about the area. Not only has he entertained us with the local history but also the story of the boutique tour company where he works alongside the director Godana and her daughter Emily. The tour operates in small groups ( max 8) and is well organised to include all major touristic sites over just 5 hours. It is short but sweet, perfect for someone with a quick stopover in Avignon who wants a snapshot of the beautiful villages. I love the lavender ice cream recommended by Eric and will definitely come back for another tour with Eric and Godana.

Magical views.
We travelled with Emmanuel to 4 hilltop villages - Gordes, Roussillion , Lourmarin and Ansouis.
What a fantastic experience. We walked around the villages ourselves which was fine - 90 minutes each in the first two which were the biggest and busiest and then 45 minutes each in the other two.
Emmanuel advised us what to look for and at in each village.
His problem was parking the van because parking is difficult in these places- so he had to drop us off and then go a long way away and return to the designated pick up spot.
He did a fantastic job and the day was brilliant - highly recommended.

Great choice to do charming villages and a Roman site.
Our guide, Joanna, was superb. She had a vast amount of knowledge about a host of things from ancient history to Van Gogh. The tour could easily be two hours longer with an extra hour at Pont du Gard and a half hour at each village (time for a light meal!), but it gives you a great overview.

Beautiful day in Cassis!
The perfect day in Cassis!
Beautiful scenery (boat ride to see les Calanques)
The town of Cassis is nice, restaurants are various and, in general, very good.
A stop at the wineyard “Domaine de Pagnol” for nice wine tasting.
Our guide ( Julien) was knowledgeable, professional and pleasant.
I recommend.
