Great trip for solo travellers
Everything was fine - plenty of water on the bus to make sure everyone stayed hydrated. The hiking speed was fully aligned to accommodate slow walkers. The challenge is the heat, not the terrain. I wouldn't recommend the trip for people who can't swim - the cave does require some swimming. Great option for solo travellers who don't drive.

Great Trip to Wadi Shab
Wadi Shab is fantastic, Bimmah Sinkhole wasn’t up to much.
If you can negotiate the trip to just do the Wadi, that is my recommendation.
However, we tied this in to an early flight arrival, and the wadi was the best way to overcome the flight. We also got collected from the airport and dropped off at our hotel, so saved messing about with taxis too.

Wonderful Wadi Shab
The hike is not long but is uneven and rocky terrain. You should be able to handle 1.5 hours of this. The valley is stunning and the water is clear and beautiful. The swim into the cave is such a thrill. Our guide Mohammad was delightful. He took such good care of us and shared history of the region as well as personal stories to help us understand and appreciate Omani culture. The highlight of my trip to Oman.

A little paradise on Earth!
We had an incredible time hiking through the valley and then swimming along the natural pools till we reach an amazing cave. Our guide Mohammed took very good care of all of us and was so nice and friendly. Thanks for a wonderful day we’ll always treasure in our memories! Alhamdulillah!

Thank you Hussain! You are simply the best….
Hussain was absolutely the best guide we’ve Han in Oman! I can’t swim, let alone move an inch with a life jacket on! I do uncontrollable and unexplainable spins in the water. Hussain patiently pulled me to the cave! It was an amazing experience that I would have missed had it not been for Hussain. My kids had an epic day, he patiently answered all their questions - the highlight for them was the stop to get Oman bread and sweets on our way back to the hotel! Thank you Hussain!

Great tour to the Wabi...
Great tour to the Wabi Shab and the sinkhole. Our guide Ammar knew his business, spoke excellent English and took his time to explain things. Don't forget to wear your swimming gear before heading there, so you can enjoy the nice swim to the cave. It was a bit busy when we got there, so try to be there early.

Well-organized tour of Oman
We toured Oman with Amer and had a great experience. He is knowledgeable about the country, culture, and history, and explained things clearly without overdoing it.
Amer was punctual, well organized, and flexible with the itinerary, adapting to our interests and pace. He took us to places beyond the usual tourist stops and made sure everything ran smoothly.
Overall, a reliable guide if you’re looking for a well-planned and authentic tour in Oman.

A wonderful experience
Wadi Shab was wonderful. Requires some physical activity and swimming ability.
Camel sunset ride ( optional extra) in Wahiba Sands. Desert was the highlight for us.
