Discover the Magic of the North Island: Private Day Tour of Hobbiton & Waitomo Caves Experience an unforgettable day exploring two of New Zealand’s most iconic destinations. This private North Island adventure weaves together jaw-dropping landscapes, heart-pounding thrills, and rich storytelling that brings every stop to life. We’ll pick you up from your hotel, the airport, or the cruise ship dock and take you on an unforgettable journey. After checking in and meeting your friendly and passionate guides, it’s time to gear up and test your tubing skills. Once you’re comfortable in your tube, you’ll enter the cave through a hole in the rock and be straight into the underground waters. Spend your time underground weaving around and climbing over rocks, jumping off not-too-high waterfalls, floating beneath a sky of glow worms, and most importantly, having the most fun you’ve ever had in the dark. Allow a total of 3 hours for this adventure. A minimum weight of 45kg is required.

Firstly, a private tour offers a vehicle & driver exclusively for you. As locals, we're well versed on where to take you & can also cater for any specific interests (within the 3.5 hour timeframe) You'll visit locations in Wellington that you couldn't make on foot, accompanied by a local, educated driver in a luxury (BMW) branded vehicle. Then we'll head out to the suburbs cruising through Lyall Bay beach & stopping at the Weta Cave (hop out). After we head back to the city you'll experience a ride on the Cable Car with more stunning views from the other side of the city. During our tour, we provide opportunities to get out of the vehicle, stretch your legs & get some fresh air. Our friendly guides will even be your photographer for the day! After collecting our guests in the city, we start the day on a high (excuse the pun) by heading up to the Mount Victoria lookout. From there we zip to Lyall Bay beach on the way to the Weta Cave where you'll hop out to visit the Weta store. After a break for lunch you get a ride on the Cable Car & after we collect you at the top, we head downtown to Parliament/Beehive & the Lady Norwood Rose Garden. We may as well visit Old St Pauls church whilst we're there but as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end.
