This was a perfect experience for visiting the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island for the first time. We did the 4 hour tour, however due to ferry schedules and delays in security it lasted a bit longer. We messed up our meeting place by not paying attention to the details in the ticket description - make sure you do so, you will need to meet your guide, don't just head into Battery Park, where people there are trying to direct you to the ticket booth. We had an awesome guide named Christian who was so kind and took the time to get to know us. We walked across to Battery Park and learned the history of the Park and the Castle/Fort. We then took the ferry over to the Statue where he gave us more information / walked around the base. We then had free time for the museum and shops. Could have used a little more time for that, but we traveled with young kids so the museum wasn't really what they wanted to do. Then we took the ferry to Ellis Island. Got some more history and he explained what there was to do inside. At that point he was done and we had all the time we wanted to explore and then catch the ferry back. Both Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island had a cafe. We ate at Ellis Island and then went through the museum and walked the grounds. We learned so much, definitely get more out of it as an adult than when I was a kid! Thanks for putting together a great tour and making sure the guides were knowledge and personable!

The tour guide made the trip for us. He was very informative and amusing. I think the timing was spot on for free time and getting to and from the ferries. If I had you say a negative it was getting through security. There must be a better way to do it

With the pick up location being in such a crowded location I have to hand it to this tour company they are a well oiled machine. The tour guide was exceptional his knowledge of the city was outstanding. This was such a beautiful way to see the city and crossing bridge while being on the top deck was breathtaking. If it's your first time don't miss this.
