Amazing Safari
Simon the tour guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable and courteous. Was able to see a lion, rhinos, hippos, giraffes, antelope, gazelles, and zebras) at the Nairobi National Park. Definitely enjoyed the elephant orphanage and the family favorite....the Girraffe Centre. Definitely recommend this excursion.

Great Experience as a Solo Traveler
An amazing introduction to Nairobi and the culture. I'm a Solo Traveler and was running late because of traffic. King, Quick, Kimani, Donga (+more) everyone waited for my arrival. I was the only one on the tour and they laid out the red carpet for me. I felt very safe as Quick talked about each community the others were close by watching to keep me safe. This was my biggest take away. Quick told me a lot about his upbringing and the different communities within downtown Nairobi. A must do tour that will leave humbled yet inspired. Thank you to everyone. You are now my Kenya family.

GREAT TOUR - but read the info on the National Park entry fee twice!
This was a great tour. I booked just a couple of weeks ahead and ended up being the only person on the tour. My guide, Stephen Mutuku, contacted me by WhatsApp the night before, which I greatly appreciated. He picked me up promptly at 8 am at my hotel.
The giraffe sanctuary was first, but we got there about 25 minutes early and Stephen stopped at a shop on the side of the road. I was confused at first, but it ended up being a co-op for individuals selling their souvenirs. The shop owner/seller and all of the various men in the building were friendly and kind. They didn't want to tell me any prices until I had decided if I was going to buy something, because there is a "discount" based on how many you buy. I purchased a small nativity set and bread basket and after the "discount" it was 11500 KSH, about $90 give or take. The cost is beside the point, I am happy to contribute to the economy, but it wasn't cheap and the interaction just feels uncomfortable. Even with that, they were all kind and friendly and not pushy. The shop had several options for payment, including Apple pay.
Then we went to the giraffe sanctuary. I didn't realize you were going to be expected to feed the giraffes - I would have actually rather just watched them, but it turned out fine. Stephen knew where to suggest that I stand, he directed me a bit to get better pictures, and we had fun. The sanctuary was beautiful, the staff gave me a quick run down of the sanctuary history and did show-and-tell with some giraffe bones (apparently the large leg bones don't have bone marrow to make them solid and stronger!).
Next was the elephant orphanage. Stephen got us there in plenty of time to be "first" at the gate to walk in, after which he directed me to the best place to stand where I would not be facing into the sun! It was so cute to see and hear about them - in the pictures they don't look very small at all!
I know the tour listing says you need to buy a ticket for the National Park - I think it was $80 - the cost is just what it is, you are at the mercy of the Kenyan government. But just know that to get your ticket they only take credit cards, you need to buy the ticket online once you are there so you use your phone and if it doesn't have cell service you need to connect to their wifi, and if you don't have a phone apparently you can enter your personal information into another person's phone (like your guide or another person on the tour) and get the ticket that way. You need to enter your full name, your passport number, and your email address - and then I got my ticket by email from the Kenya National Wildlife Service. They took my Mastercard, but I would make sure you have more than one credit card - I didn't have seamless credit card usage when I was in Nairobi. They did not take Apple Pay. There is no way to see the elephant orphanage unless you go through this process - it is worth it, just be aware of what it is going to take.
We then went to the bead factory - it was a short tour, the women were friendly, the gift shop was huge and all of the necklaces were clearly priced. The had a seamless credit card and apple pay system. I came home with two that I probably won't wear but I will treasure just the same! :)

Best experience in Nairobi
Our first time in Kenya. This excursion is the one to book. Our driver Stephan was awesome. The Girrafe Centre, seeing the baby elephants and then the Bomba dancers and seeing what they are doing for animal conservation was an incredible experience. Seeing the women making the clay beads from start to finish by hand was awe inspiring - no machines used.

Most fun and professional experience 🦁🦏🦒🦛🦓🐊
We cannot recommend Julius and the Safari experience we booked enough (Nairobi National Park, Sheldrik Wildlife Trust and Giraffe Center). For context: we also took the uber Safari in Nairobi National Park so we can compare the two experiences pretty well.
First of all, the communication beforehand was amazing. We were able to reschedule because we missed our flight to Nairobi even though it was less than 24hours before.
Julius picked us up in time, was super friendly in an easy-going way, and very knowledgeable. You could tell he loves his job and has 20years of experience. Afterwards he stayed an hour longer than obligated to, to make sure we had a proper lunch (great recommendation too) and dropped us at the airport for our next flight (even though he did not have to do that and otherwise would have been home an hour earlier).
In the uber safari you got what you paid for, a driver who simply drove you through the national park. In the safari with Julius we got a professional guide who knew all the best spots, had all the secret tips, answered all the questions and made it an unforgettable experience while being kind, charming, funny and an expert in his job.
The only regret we have is not booking other parks in Kenia through Julius but we will be back ;)
I would also like to add that I do not normally review things and I am German, so not easy to impress, which is why this review really comes from the heart. Thank you Julius for the experience of a lifetime!

Great experience
We had a great time. Our guide David picked up us on time from the place we were staying at.
We managed to see all the animals we wanted to see including lions, rhinos, a jaguar on a tree branch, buffalo, giraffes, ostrich, impala, zebras, crocodiles and hippos. Price was good and affordable. I highly recommend it.

Incredible afternoon safari! Booked shared and got a private 4x4 trip with Chris!
AMAZING! We went in the afternoon, and it was only my dad and I and we had booked a shared safari that ended up being private - incredible. We had previously been with another provider to the park earlier in our stay in Nairobi and this car was more comfortable and the better experience. The afternoon tour (3pm) I was worried there would be less animals to see but OH BOY I was wrong! The afternoon tour meant that the park was virtually empty of other cars so way more animals to be seen - as closer up than during our morning game drive. To top it off the 5 minutes into our drive in the park, we passed another driver who told us to follow him to where a pride of lions were sleeping. He did not mention they were sleeping 3 metres from the road and we go to be face to face with 5 sleeping lions!!!!!!! Absolute highlight of my trip to Nairobi, our driver Chris was knowledgeable, polite and a great driver. Would absolutely recommend - as we needed to be out of the park by 6:30 we just missed the sunset but saw so many animals.

Great Maasai safari
Awesome experience. The tour was well curated. The pick up and daily timings were maintained. The travel time from Nairobi to Masai was about 6 hours. We got to go on a safari for 2 days and saw lions and Cheetah both days. Our driver / guide Paul was very good. Special thanks to him

Lenny was a great guide....
Lenny was a great guide. We told him we only had two hours for the tour instead of the 5 hours. He adjusted the itinerary accordingly which allowed us to get back to hotel on time. We got to experience the real Nairobi and see the key sights. He also helped us find our Uber driver. Thanks!

Driver NURU & Guide LEKI scored a slam dunk 💯
My last day in Kenya 🇰🇪 became my best day in Kenya 🇰🇪😇
The day began with me meeting my AMAZING driver Nuru! It was refreshing to meet such a wonderful happy go lucky 🍀 individual! His attention to detail and kindness was amazing!
Upon arriving to our destination, I had the pleasure to meet my AMAZING guide LEKI!
This young man with his winning spirit was way beyond my expectations! Leki’s knowledge of Hell’s Gate animals, history and ecosystem was highly impressive!
LEKI proved that being a hands on leader was way beyond anything that I could have ever have read about in a book!
If you happen to be in Kenya 🇰🇪 and don’t mind a little sweat 😓, please look up Nuru and LEKI for a AMAZING Kenya 🇰🇪 Adventure 👍

Beautiful countryside
Beautiful countryside and a great day out from the city. The lady who owns the team farm is a real character and provides really interesting information about the tea industry. The setting is amazing, a lovely garden to explore, the area where the tea grows and you are taken to a woodlands where the medical properties are explained of the trees. There is also a chance to try the tea and a three course lunch. Out of all of the day trips from nairobi in the last week it has been favourite. Steve my driver was super lovely, on time, good communication and information as well. Great day 😁

Lovely and Relaxing Day
Our driver was Paul. He picked us up right on time. The tea farm was beautiful and tranquil. We really enjoyed our visit there. The grounds are beautifully manicured with abundant fresh flowers. We learned all about tea planting, growing, harvesting and drying. Then we had a very beautiful lunch made with farm fresh ingredients.
