Drive to Lake Naivasha...
Drive to Lake Naivasha with Josh. Went on a boat safari with guide Ben and saw land animals as well as birds such as the sea eagle and pelican. We then went to Hells Gate and took the option to hire electric bikes (3000 Kay) but well worth it. No protective cycle helmets are provided. We were guided along the gorge by a local guide who was very knowledgeable. Back for a late lunch we had preordered in the morning, then the 2 hour drive back to Nairobi

We had a great time at...
We had a great time at Hell's Gate National Park with Isaac and the guides in the park! Isaac was prompt and communicative, picking us up on time at our hotel. He was very knowledgeable of Nairobi and the country in general. Once we got to the park, we had an incredible time biking around and walking through the gorge. We saw a ton of wildlife - giraffes, zebras, impalas, baboons, etc. Afterwards, Isaac took us to a lunch spot which was great too. All in all, excellent tour!

Hell's Gate National Park
  • Bird enthusiasts of all levels shouldn’t miss the Mervyn Carnelley Raptor Hide—a camouflaged viewing station in the park.

  • If you are exploring the park on your own (on foot or by bike), there’s an easy 4-mile route that stretches from the main entrance at Elsa Gate to the picnic area and ranger’s station near the entrance of Ol Njorowa Gorge.

  • Pack a picnic lunch to eat in the picnic area, but beware of curious vervet monkeys who might make your snack their own.
