What are people saying about Nairobi

Really interesting...
Really interesting experience - more about understanding the poorer side of life in Nairobi than seeing the city. Very safe way to see some parts of town that you wouldn't otherwise see. Make sure you have some extra cash on you because you'll be asked if you want to buy lunch for some street kids at about 300 KSH per kid, plus there might be a stop for an optional drink.

Day Safari! Awesome Experience!
Where to start? We basically saw everything one would hope to see. Lions, rhinos, giraffes, monkeys, baboons, gazelles, warthogs, alligators, zebras… the only thing we didn’t see were hippos, but you’ll get no complaints from me. The elephants are a separate part of the tour, as they’re rescues, so you don’t see them in the wild (but you do get a neat experience). The giraffe center is nice, as you get up close & personal with the giraffes and get to feed them (be careful - they might headbutt your and/or steal the food - they have long tongues). There’s also a stop at a bead factory which was pretty interesting (it is locally owned & run by Kenyan women). Plenty of amazing hand made souvenirs if you’re so inclined. This is a long day, so keep that in mind. I was picked up at 5:30am and got back to my hotel around 4:00pm. We did stop for a local lunch that was quite good! If you don’t have time for a multi day safari, I recommend this day trip.

Tea Time in Kenya!
This is a very nice tour of a small (relatively - it’s 2 acres), family owned tea farm that has been in operation in Kenya for a little over a century. The current owner’s grandfather got everything started, and she is continuing the legacy. You get to see the tea fields, learn how tea is grown & processed, drink some tea (of course) and tour the grounds (including a bit of a guided forest walk). Additionally, there’s a hand made lunch with fresh ice cream made from milk from cows on the property (yes, you get to see the cows too)! This is a good day trip and I would recommend it.

Frances is the best guide ever!
This experience far exceeded our expectations. Our guide Frances was amazing! He gave us a wealth of knowledge that didn't sound scripted. He was fun and very kind, we saw 3 of the Big 5, beautiful zebras crocodiles, different bird species, and a few other animals. This was definitely worth the money for a half safari (4-5 hours). Thank you sooo much Frances, from your American friends Kenya and Cmore from Bmore✌🏾🇰🇪
