Top Madagascar On the Water

Experience on an island recognized and protected as a Nature Reserve. Sea and sun punctuate the culture and traditional activities of the inhabitants: fishermen, artisans, children and the elderly are immersed in everyday life to the rhythm of an astonishing nature. The coral reef is easily reached by swimming. The island is world famous for its natural pools located under the Sacred Mountain. The depths rich in poseidonia are the ideal habitat for giant sea turtles: these turtles are so accustomed to the harmless movement of the fishermen with their motorless pirogues that the human presence has become familiar. You will swim very close to them.

Unlike traditional tours, we combine in a single half-day the two essentials of the region: the encounter with lemurs in Nosy Komba and snorkeling in the Nosy Tanikely Marine Reserve. Your added value is based on several key elements: Perfect for cruise passengers: flexible hours and guaranteed return to the boat Comfort and speed: fast boat trips to optimize your time Authentic experience: immersion in a local village and natural encounter with lemurs Snorkeling accessible to all: calm waters, ideal even for beginners Personalized service: small groups or private option for more comfort Every detail is designed to make you experience the best of Nosy Be in no time, without compromising between discovery, relaxation and security.

On the breathtaking coral reef of Tanikely, we offer snorkelling or even a 10–15-minute real scuba diving experience by our special, 1 Liter mini scuba tanks! Our guests with their tour guide can easily experience the thrill of floating directly above the coral reefs in a cavalcade of colourful tropical fish, or swimming for minutes with a sea turtle, even without a diving licence. With our braver guests in a one-hour trek we walk around this small jewel island and admire the black sandy and rocky coast on the other side of the island. During the day we will also visit the lighthouse which gives an amazing view to the surrounding archipelago and to Madagascar. The trip includes a delicious Malagasy lunch on the coast in the shade of coconut palms.

Nosy's Iran is truly a fairytale place. It really is the kind of place most of us have only seen advertised in luxury travel catalogues or in nature films. If you would like to visit such a place and have a guaranteed a lifetime experience, you can make your dream come true with us now at an incredibly affordable price. We'll provide you with your own guide who will be with you all day to make sure you don't miss a thing and that you can fully enjoy all the wonders of Iranja. Such as the magical snow-white sandbar at low tide between the 2 small islands, with a 1.5 km long beach of white, soft coral sand that stretches long into the ocean on one side. Or snorkelling on the other side to the sprawling, colourful coral reef, full of blooming corals, millions of colourful fish and gentle, friendly sea turtles, but even dolphins are not rare guests here! You can meet the friendly local natives in their fishing village, and for lunch, and indeed for the whole day, you'll be their guests.

Over that, Nosy Iranja is really like you're on another planet, it's a unique natural wonder in the world. Iranja (small and large Iranja) is the island that turns into 1 island at low tide connected by a fabulous, unearthly beauty snow-white sand bench. Our guests are not just tourists on Nosy Iranja, but guests of the local native fishing village. The locals provide us with our own palm hut for the entire stay. Also they prepare and serve a real, traditional Malagasy lunch for you. You will admire and enjoy the snow-white coral sands of Iranja and the supernatural beauty of its coastline You can enjoy snorkelling, diving, sunbathing or a short walk to the island’s lighthouse. In addition we also offer a special 10-minute real diving experience without diving licence, with our mini diving tanks. But we also provide snorkel equipment on request, or even hammocks to be used on coconut palms. We also take real pro GoPro videos of the trips and plenty of stills for our guests.

It is a real 6 hours jungle trek, a wonderful experience. It's like being in a David Attenburough film. Funny lemurs and chameleons, exotic plants, like Jackfruit, cocoa, lychee, pepper and coffee bushes, vanilla and a lot more. It's not a simple walk on a paved nature trail, so for prepared travellers only. After reaching the island peak, in the second half of the trek we meet more and more lemurs, who are very friendly in winter, even jumping on us gently and accepting bananas from our hands, to eat sitting on our shoulders or heads. It's a real jungle adventure! You'll encounter real jungle villages with friendly indigenous people and such flora and fauna that you have only seen in nature films. During the tour you can taste things like the fresh cocoa fruit (the flesh of cocoa), the sweetness of raw sugar cane, jackfruit or soursop, 8 kinds of mango in season and other special fruits that don't even have a name in English or French! Try it and you will never forget nor regret it!

When we arrive at the amazingly beautiful, snow-white sandy island of Nosy Iranja we will camp in the native village and then you have a variety of options. Sunbathe on the almost 2 kilometres of fabulous sandbar, snorkel and swim with turtles. If you feel like it, we can take you to the top of the island to see the lighthouse with a fabulous view of the 2 islands of Iranja and the Indian Ocean. You can also take a short excursion around the island. Later, a traditional Malagasy lunch in the fishing village, then heading back to Nosy Be. This trip is the only way for visitors arriving by cruise ship to get to the island of Iranja and admire this stunning part of the world. No matter what time you get off the boat and what time you have to return. We will be waiting for you directly at the port with our own motorboat and we will take head immediately to Iranya. All other excursions to Nosy Iranja are leave early in the morning and not from the port.

A night jungle trek is like no other. Fantastic atmosphere, extraordinary creatures. Only someone who's been on one knows that. A dense, humid, sultry dark black jungle, broken only by the light of our headlamps and torches, and here and there we come across special animals, either resting or hunting at night. Night lemurs, special dwarf and other chameleons, night geckos, giant snakes, etc... And, if that's not enough, sleeping in the middle of a national park in a well-kept jungle, woken up by the cries of lemur families and falling asleep among the sounds of the jungle, is like being in a nature movie. And on top of that, there's the chance to relax on a completely private sandy beach, snorkel on the coral reefs and even try paddling a traditional Malagasy canoe.
