Swamp Tour within Rain 2026
Hello, wildlife and alligator enthusiasts! I finally experienced a swamp and bayou tour. Despite the rain and the dense coverage of the national park, the pontoon boat was fantastic. The captain was highly knowledgeable about the canal waterways, and his local accent was charming and authentic. Within the park, we were limited in what we could do, but he explained the reasons why, and I’m looking forward to holding a wildlife animal in a different tour not a national park visits. During the tour, we saw a variety of wildlife, including alligators 4-6 ft long small , owls perched silently in trees, cranes wading through shallow waters, a bald eagle nesting high on a branch, and water turkeys (also known as anhingas) swimming gracefully. Snacks and beverages were available on board, but we had eaten beforehand. Overall, I found the experience very relaxing and enjoyable. I definitely plan to do it again. Thanks to everyone involved!🫶🐊

Best walking tour in Nawlins
Entertaining and informative! Our tour guide was AMAZING and highly engaging. During our tour another group walked by and she captured their attention too - one woman said “i want to be on THAT tour”! Plus the tour end was such a special treat! 100% made my trip to New Orleans (and it was my first time there).

Hanging with the alligators
The swap tour was a surprisingly fun filled day. The bayou is beautiful, the tour is pleasant, the tour guide (Captain Kevin) was great and the swap is filled with alligators. It was extremely informative, (our guide was a native) and a great way to spend an afternoon.

The Highlight of Our Girls' Weekend!!
Our family had an absolutely amazing experience!
I booked this adventure as part of a special Girls' Weekend for my daughter stepdaughter. I promised her a mother-daughter bonding trip, and with my biological daughter, we drove all the way from Chicago to New Orleans. This zipline experience was the one thing she wanted to do, and two close family friends flew in so the five of us could spend an unforgettable Girls' Weekend together. Watching the four of them laugh, encourage one another, and make memories was special.
On the day of our reservation, I made a mistake. I didn't plan our departure from the hotel well enough, forgot my phone, had to turn back to get it, and nearly caused us to miss our scheduled arrival. The timing issue was completely my fault, and I own that.
When I called, the manager was understandably firm about their policy, but also listened with kindness while I explained our situation. We arrived just three minutes before our scheduled time, fully expecting they might miss their opportunity. Instead, the staff jumped into action. They got everyone fitted with their gear, completed every required safety briefing without rushing, and made sure they were able to join their scheduled group.
Their professionalism, patience, and kindness turned what could have been a heartbreaking disappointment into one of the highlights of our trip. I am especially grateful to the manager and the entire team for extending us grace while still maintaining their commitment to safety.
My advice to future guests: arrive early! It will make your experience much less stressful. But if something unexpected happens, do the team the courtesy of calling as soon as possible. They truly care about their guests, and our group is incredibly thankful for the compassion they showed us.
Thank you for helping me create memories that strengthened the bond between me, my biological daughter, my stepdaughter, and dear friends. We will never forget the kindness your team showed us.

Our groups favorite thing we did in NOLA!!
Trey gave us an awesome tour of the swamp, took us up close and personal with the gators, drove his airboat like a pro, and entertained us with jokes and entertainment throughout! Bus pick up and drop off made things super easy. An absolute must while visiting NOLA!!

Best and informative tour of the Louisiana Bayou!
Best Tour I’ve had in a long Time, everyone there was extremely welcoming, informative, and super knowledgeable, from our Shuttle driver, to the cashier and especially our Tour Boat Driver! My wife and I learned more about The Louisiana Bayou, & Echo-system on that tour in two hours, than our our entire lives learning and following National Geographic. Honestly! Superb!

Worth the visit
I have visited several Aquariums and this is ranked in my tops. The insectaium was absolute fire! I would recommend this to anyone who loves nature. Both exhibits show case so much attention to detail we absolutely loved it. Recommend to set aside at least 3 hours.

Swampy Ride
Our tour guide, Adam, I believe, was very good. The boat is a pontoon style and was covered. We saw several gators that swam right up to the boat. We went in May which is supposed to be a good time to see them. Check-in was easy in the air-conditioned gift shop with bathrooms. There was also a bathroom at the deck where we waited for our boat number to be called. The only problem we had was with the directions they sent. You are told to turn in on Fleming Park Rd but that is a one-way street going out. Directions should say turn at Texas St. We had 3 people with us between 22 and 31 and they loved it. Great for all ages.

Gators Galore
This was a great way to spend a few hours. The gators were out and about, the Captain very knowledgeable and it was fun out in the open skimming from side to side. Learned how the Captains help Fish and Wildlife help control the preservation of the gators - fun for all

Must-do Day Trip from New Orleans
The tour guide and operator were professional and on-time offering multiple pick-up spots in mid-city New Orleans near hotels. The bus driver/tour guide was friendly and informative and provided interesting commentary through the ride to the plantation. Our group felt the self-guided tour was the best way to see the plantation as it is an emotional and reflective experience. It is a good way to self-pace and allow time for listening, reading, and processing. This is a must-do for anyone traveling to the area!

Wonderful Carriage Ride for Families with Kids
As a Chinese visitor traveling with a child, this carriage tour was an amazing experience. The staff kindly let kids sit in the front, which made it extra special and exciting. The carriage driver was very experienced and professional. During the ride, there was a small traffic situation when a car blocked the road and even bumped into another vehicle, but the horse stayed very calm and patient, and the driver handled everything smoothly. We felt very safe the entire time. It was a unique and memorable experience, and I highly recommend it for families with kids!
