Jason is the best
Jason was amazing! We did a private tour and absolutely loved it. Expect a lot of driving but it’s definitely worth it. Jason made sure we had everything we needed and were well taken care of. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the REAL natural beauty and culture that is the Dominican Republic.

Excellent trip through the Mangroves then into the open bay. Our guide Walphi spoke excellent English and pointed out the Blue Herons

Strongly recommended!
Great visits to Montaña Redonda, Haitises and Spa Yanigua. Well organized, they even provided bottles of water. Loved the lunch in the jungle. Carlos was great to explain local culture.

Lots of site seeing
The tour guides were so kind, lots of driving but it gives you a chance to see your surroundings. I did not feel rushed at all. Swimming in the river and waterfall was amazing! The food was amazing. I went solo and would 100% go again!!!

Would recommend, with some caveats
I'll preface this review by saying I was sick the day I took this tour. I threw up twice, once on the van ride and another time on the boat in Samana Bay. I must have eaten something bad.
That being said, the tour itself is great. The guide Jose was very knowledgeable and the locations in Los Haitses were incredible.
I found the logistics to be very confusing and disorganized, and I really don't like Cayo Levantado. The beaches are beautiful, but there's an overwhelming amount of tourists...at least this time of year. Overall, I'd recommend this experience, but it's very, very crowded and touristic and the process of transportation/logistics is very disorganized.

Highly recommend - great tour and value for money
Highly recommend this tour! It was a fantastic experience and great value for money. The scenery in Los Haitises is absolutely stunning, and the whole trip was very well organized.
Our guide, Ramon, was excellent—knowledgeable, funny, and very engaging. He kept the whole group entertained while also sharing interesting information about the park and the area. Him and the rest of the staff were fabulous and made sure everyone had a great time.
If you’re visiting Las Terrenas or Samaná, this trip is definitely worth doing!

Nice 2 hour Kayak in Haitises
We kayaked through the mangroves and bay in Haitises National Park. The guides talked to us about the different types of mangroves and birds and other animals that live in the area. They talked a little bit about the history. Mostly it was a beautiful day with really nice water and decent kayaks. We each got to have an individual kayak which we appreciated. We drove up from Punta Cana which was a long drive and in some places challenging due to very high speed bumps and many moped drivers with no helmets zipping in and out of traffic. Also, the roads were rough in places with some dirt roads you have to drive towards the end. The kayaking was very easy without a lot of waves or currents and the scenery was beautiful. We were looking for something that was just a simple kayak tour without all the other stuff and this fit the bill.

The places were fun to...
The places were fun to visit. Our guide, Carlos was fantastic. We did spend more time in the bus than we would have liked. A lot of riding between stops.

We originally booked to...
We originally booked to go to Cano Hondo for lunch but were informed prior to the tour that we will be going to Salto Yanigua Ranch. The ranch ended up being our groups favorite stop from the tour. We really enjoyed our tour guide Joel as well. You could tell he enjoyed sharing his knowledge and what he did. Even though we were gone all day it went by so fast and didn’t feel rushed. I also liked that it didn’t feel over crowded. Would definitely go again and recommend.

Best Tour Ever!!!
We visited Los Haitises, Montaña Redonda, and Paraiso Caño Hondo. The tour includes breakfast and lunch. The tour guide, Nathan spoke in 3 languages (spanish, english and french) he gave all the information (that's amazing) for our benefit. We liked so much the tour that we will recommend it to our friends!
