For customers not staying in a hotel (condos, apartments, villas) we will arrange a pick up point close to their location. - Pick ups go from 6 to 7:30 am and each hotel has a different one, so this will be provided after receiving the reservation. - For reservations of only 1 person outside the Bavaro area, pick up could be NOT available. - For hotels in Miches the stop at Montaña Redonda is not included in the itinerary.

We originally booked to go to Cano Hondo for lunch but were informed prior to the tour that we will be going to Salto Yanigua Ranch. The ranch ended up being our groups favorite stop from the tour. We really enjoyed our tour guide Joel as well. You could tell he enjoyed sharing his knowledge and what he did. Even though we were gone all day it went by so fast and didn’t feel rushed. I also liked that it didn’t feel over crowded. Would definitely go again and recommend.

We visited Los Haitises, Montaña Redonda, and Paraiso Caño Hondo. The tour includes breakfast and lunch. The tour guide, Nathan spoke in 3 languages (spanish, english and french) he gave all the information (that's amazing) for our benefit. We liked so much the tour that we will recommend it to our friends!
We booked this tour and were excited about it but got a call 2 days before saying there were not enough people booked to be able to do the tour. The tour guide offered an alternative day but we had another excursion that day. They then offered an alternative tour on the same day which we did attend. That tour was very similarly except had a different lunch stop. Overall, it was frustrating to not get the tour we booked but the one we took was still good. The alternative tour did not include lunch cocktails, but the food was cooked over an open fire which was delicious. I’m giving 3 stars mostly because we never got to take the actual tour we booked. But I do give credit to the operator in working hard to find a solution that worked for us in the end. It was as a VERY long day but the Mount Redonda stop, the national park with Mangroves and the cave stop are definitely work seeing.

Great adventure away from everything commercialized. The REAL Dominican Republic. Loved all the stops. Our tour guide Miguel spoke 3 languages. Lots of history and education but the "raw" experiences made this trip the highlight of my vacation. There is alot of driving from punta cana because the forest is so remote, but I didn't mind as it was enjoyable to take in the scenery and look at all the small towns along the way. Lots of stops to break up the trip. AWESOME TOUR.

Tour was great, except for the journey.
Too many stops circling around picking up, Guide & driver were great, very proficient.
Excellent guide - very informative. The caves were very interesting and the boat itinerary beautiful. The lunch was delicious.
We had a great time. The food was delicious something new for us. The views are beautiful. We love it!!!
Although a long drive to the start of the first adventure it was worth every minute. Firstly, up Montana Redonda with stunning views out across the sea and inland views of miles of lush landscape. We took swim and an adrenaline rush zip line off the top of Montana Redonda. Next was the mangroves and cave paintings in the magical Los Haitises National Park, genuinely like something out of Jurassic Park! Finally we got to the plantation of enjoy lunch, climbing up to an enormous tree house, jumping off a waterfall and swimming in the river. All this combined with excellent commentary and knowledge through the day from our guide allowing us to learn about and understand the Dominican People, their amazing country, culture and history.
Beyond doubt one of the best excursions we've ever done. Highly, highly recommended, you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I truly enjoyed the entire excursion. We had a great time and the view was spectacular on the mountain Rodonda. The spring and the boat ride were amazing.
I don’t have enough space to explain how amazing this day was!! joel was so knowledgeable about everything-not only does he speak 4+ languages (spanish, english, french and german during our trip) but he made sure to take the time to answer every single question and explain everything we saw in each language. The sights were stunning, and the boat ride through los haitises was unlike anything we had ever seen. we seriously cannot thank Joel enough for this incredible day- you truly get to see so much of the island and learn so much about the beautiful culture of this country. It is a very long day- we were picked up from our hotel at 7:20am and got back at 7:30pm- however in order to see eveything we did you needed that much time. Again I cannot thank joel enough for making this day so enjoyable- each car ride was filled with interesting discussions and each place we stopped was even more beautiful than the next.
Our tour guide was very knowledge about the Dominican republic's culture my family enjoyed the tour to the fullest.
This trip had a little bit of everything:

We signed up for an English guide but we ultimately only a few English speakers were on the tour so the guide had to repeat everything in English and Spanish. The guide was very knowledgeable.
Ultimately, the trip was a little long for us and the ride did make us a little car sick. Unfortunately, there really isn't a better way to be able to experience all the things promised in the trip. The pictures all turned out to be great. The store they stopped at to use the restroom had prices that were higher than the identical items sold at the resort so be cautious and negotiate appropriately.
A really full and interesting day with our brilliant guide, Joel. All parts of the tour were excellent - Montana Redonda, Haitises National Park (boat and caves), Lunch and experience at the Rancho in the mountains. Joel was really enthusiastic, very knowledgeable and engaging. He was also interested in us as guests in his country. A long day but really well spent
Our tour guide, Domingo, was very knowledgeable and passionate about the Dominican Republic. We got to experience some of the cuisine and sights that DR has to offer, and learn a bit about the history and what the people of DR have had to live through. It was all very insightful for a first-timer like myself. Be mentally and physically prepared for a full-day's worth of activities!
This was awful there was a HUGE GROUP with a 3 hour delay. Never offered us water and longest day ever waiting and one of the tour guides was yelling aggressively all day. Would not recommend!

Such an amazing experience! Our guide, Henry, was so friendly and knowledgeable about his country. It was a long day and a lot of driving, but we got to see so much and Henry shared stories and pieces of history with us throughout the trip so the drives didn’t feel as long. Definitely recommended if you want to actually see the country outside of the resort life.

This was the best tour we had and we had a total of 4. The tour guide Henry was the best. Very knowledgeable. The places he took us and the food we ate and the culture we learned. It was great. I recommend this tour.
The tour was not bad and worth seeing but in terms of organisation it is really poorly organised.
This means that a tour that could be done in 8 to 9 hours takes 12 to 13 hours because of the organization and that then in a tour in 4 different languages the same is told

es tut mir leid zu hören, dass Ihnen die Tour nicht ganz so gut gefallen hat. Es handelt sich um eine Gruppentour mit Gästen aus verschiedenen Hotels und mit unterschiedlichen Sprachkenntnissen. Unsere Tour wird als 12-stündige Tour in vier Sprachen angeboten. Punta Cana ist sehr groß, und die Organisation mit all den Abholungen und Rückfahrten ist nicht ganz einfach. Unsere Reiseleiter geben sich jedoch größte Mühe, allen Gästen gerecht zu werden. Was Sie sich wünschen, ist leider nur im Rahmen einer privaten Tour möglich, nicht in einer Gruppentour wie dieser.

Cumple con todo lo indicado en el programa. Bonitas vistas y fotos desde Montaña Redonda. El parque de los Haitises precioso. En el rancho nos atendieron estupendamente y para acabar un bañito en el río con su cascadita. Nuestro guía Joel, estupendo, nos dió mucha información sobre el país y de los lugares visitados.
Hermosa vista panorámica en montaña Redonda, le dedicaría menos tiempo pues con tomar algunas fotos es suficiente. En Hacienda Yanigua buen almuerzo e interesante experiencia con los cultivos típicos de Dominicana, la cascada en cambio no es espectacular. Las estrellas del tour fueron sin duda el PN Los Haitises con sus cuevas y manglares, y nuestro guía Joel.
Creo que es cultural, pero no estoy acostumbrada a que me estén tirando los tejos a cada rato por ser mujer e ir sola, siendo un guía de excursión debería ser más profesional. Ya vi que es algo generalizado de los dominicanos, la verdad que incomoda.
