Great food tour
We had a wonderful tour with Yuvia! She was dynamic, friendly, and very communicative. We especially enjoyed chatting with her about the lives, thoughts, and perspectives of young people in Japan today—it gave us a more personal glimpse into modern Japanese life. A fun and enjoyable experience!

Had a great time with Joseph in the night walking tour
We had a great experience, saw so much in such a short walk. Joseph was very knowledgeable and easy-going taking the time to explain a lot of detail of the areas we visited. We had our eight year-old girl with us and he made it fun for her as well. Helped us avoid crowds and still see popular places. Highly recommend this tour with Joseph.

Bamboo, Monkeys, and Matcha
My young adult sons and I greatly enjoyed this tour. Nay had excellent English and was very passionate and knowledgeable on the history of the area and Japan in general. We covered the Zen Buddhist Temple, took a stroll through the bamboo forest, and enjoyed matcha ice cream. Nay then provided tickets and sent us up the hill to the site of the wild monkeys. Following the tour, we browsed through the cute shops in Arashiyama and enjoyed a delicious Japanese meal.

This tour was amazing!!...
This tour was amazing!! Our guide Yuki was awesome. He took the time to answer all of our questions and teach us about each site we visited. It is clear he is passionate about teaching others about Kyoto’s history.
It was raining throughout the tour and I was initially concerned about this. However, the bikes came with ponchos that attached to the basket, we stayed remarkably dry and comfortable.
The bikes themselves were super fun, honestly we could have had a great time just riding them around. The four hour tour did not feel like four hours at all because we were enjoying ourselves so much!
This tour was a highlight of our trip to Japan, we absolutely loved it.

A must do day out in Kyoti
It’s magical! There is a lot of walking but it doesn’t feel stressful. The monkeys are amazing and whilst the walk is steep there are plenty of rest stops and it really isn’t that far. The guide is incredibly knowledgable and has a good sense of fact and humour.

He navigated us through trains and buses with ease and made Kyoto feel super accessible. The early morning tour was definitely worth it. Thank you Haruki!

Amazing Tour and Guide!!!!
We had an amazing tour! We learned so much about the Kyoto Imperial Palace and the surrounding area. Miyake shared so many fascinating historical details and made everything engaging and easy to understand. The small group made it feel very personal, and he was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. He also gave us fantastic Kyoto recommendations that will make the rest of our trip even better. Thank you so much for everything—we highly recommend booking with him!

Great Kyoto tour!
We had a wonderful 4-hour walking tour of Kyoto with Kenta Silusuki. He guided us through the city’s main temples, historic streets, and beautiful neighborhoods at a comfortable, relaxed pace, with breaks whenever needed. Kenta was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience both enjoyable and informative. He also gave us excellent recommendations for shopping and restaurants that made the rest of our stay even better. We highly recommend Kenta to anyone looking for a great introduction to Kyoto!

Diverse and unique dishes from the Kyoto region!
This tour was great! The dishes were specific to Kyoto, which is what I wanted. Even if you have tried many of the popular Japanese dishes from social media, this tour offers diverse and unique dishes that you may not have tried. Chika was a great tour guide as well, explaining the region and sake types and pairings. Highly highly recommended if you love food!

Great walk through Gion
Our guide Michael was very friendly and knowledgeable, answering everyone’s questions—which ranged from animals we saw to societal things like politics and educational structure…😳😀. The walk covered great parts of town and only had 9 people, so it was small enough not to get lost.

1-day trip to Hiroshima and Miyajima: Rainy but still fun
Our tour guide, Takeshi, is very friendly and knowledgeable. He is very passionate about showing Hiroshima to visitors. Our train was delayed for 30 minutes due to bad weather. He stayed with us and made sure we got on the train safely. We really appreciated his kindness.

Wonderful experience
The samurai experience in Kyoto was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in the world of samurai culture. Dressing up in traditional attire was a fun start, and we felt like true warriors as we learned sword moves and practiced techniques with expert guidance. The highlight was definitely the dance with katanas—both exhilarating and mesmerizing!
We also enjoyed a live performance that brought the samurai tradition to life in a way we hadn’t expected. To top it all off, we had a photoshoot at the end, capturing memories of our time as samurai. This experience was both fun and educational, and we left feeling like we had truly stepped into history. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an exciting, hands-on cultural experience in Kyoto!
