Stress free tour of Kyoto highlights
Ryugo, our guide, was organized, informative and lots of fun. I booked the day before and thank goodness! He took care of all of the logistics. Visiting 3 sites took multiple trains and a bus. I am sure I would not have navigated as quickly as he was able to do. Relieved a lot of stress. The meetup was easy, right at the station, and we jumped on the train. We had a great group and he took some fun group pics. Would recommend this tour! Also, Ryogo spoke great english, so no worries there.

Raphael was amazing!
Raphael was awesome! Did a great job explaining the history of the various districts, the cultural importance of the sites we visited, and walked us through some of the rituals at the various shrines. Also the night tour meant the a lot of the streets were more empty than normal and we got some amazing photo opportunities.

Highly recommend!
This was a great tour with a very pleasant guide. We covered a lot of ground and learned so much! Arisa was fun to be with and extremely knowledgeable. She took us to many highlights and going early allowed us to avoid many of the crowds. This was a wonderful way to see the beautiful Kyoto attractions.

Fantastic tour of Arashiyama
Very enjoyable stroll through Arashiyama, it's temples and the bamboo forest followed by the climb up to the monkey park, which is quite strenuous but totally worth it. Our guide Tim was knowledgeable and funny, sharing aspects of Korean culture and the local area. Highly recommended.

Great food tour
A great food experience. Tara was wonderful at explaining the various foods and made the evening a pleasure. Our group of 11 had many dishes we would not have tried which was why we booked the tour. Well done Tara. I would highly recommend her and the tour.

Day trip to Hiroshima by bullet train
A very well organised tour to Hiroshima by bullet train and to Myajima island where we had enough time to visit . The dome and peace museum were very poignant . Our guide Nob was very attentive, patient and informative about the events. I would recommend the tour

Had a nice tour, enjoyed...
Had a nice tour, enjoyed our time with Mrs. Asaka. I thought she did a really nice job explaining the history and Kyoto. She walked us through the local university campus and we saw the cafeteria on the way back to the train, and it was unexpectedly a highlight of the tour. It’s nice to see a glimpse into everyday life. Thank you

Kyoto food tour
Wow what a great food tour. Louis was an amazing guide, interesting and knowledgeable about Kyoto/Japanese history and he made us feel very welcome. The food was exceptional and both of us tried new drinks which didn’t disappoint. A+++ tour for sure! Louis also recommended great places for us to see and try out over time we have in Kyoto. In fact we went straight to one of the whiskey bars he recommended after the tour and loved it.

A Fantastic Tour with Hidden Gems – Ask for Yuki!
I can’t recommend this walking food tour of Nishiki Market enough! It was the perfect way to explore the market beyond just the main stalls. We tried a great variety of different snacks, and the tour took us to several hidden gems that I definitely would have overlooked if I were just wandering around as a tourist.
Our guide, Yuki, was the highlight of the experience. She was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, sharing so much insight into the food and culture. It was quite cold during our walk, and Yuki was thoughtful enough to bring hand warmers for us—such a kind touch that made a huge difference!
The tour finished with a sit-down meal that had a bunch of different options to try, which was pretty amazing and a great way to end the day. I ordered steamed dumplings and they were amazing. If you want to see the best of Nishiki Market, definitely book this tour!

Great samurai experience
This was a great activity. They did an awesome job explaining some of the history of the samurai. We learned a few basic sword moves. Everyone got dressed as a samurai and took some photos. And finished with watching a performance by the staff that was excellent. Overall very friendly staff with good sense of humor, but they are good at their craft and did a great performance. Wife and 3 kids all enjoyed the experience

Very enjoyable
KC was hands down the best tour guide we had during our two-week stay in Japan—and that's saying a lot because we had several excellent guides. He was incredibly knowledgeable and informative, sharing insights with the perfect balance of politeness and humor. We were laughing all day long while learning so much. KC's genuine personality and warmth made the experience unforgettable. We absolutely loved him and can’t recommend him highly enough!
