William is the best
William the tour guide was very quick on his feet and made a last minute adjustment to the trip itinerary so that we were able to enjoy our trip as much as possible. There was known high traffic of travelers flooding the Batu caves in the morning of our trip so William changed our plans so we did Batu caves second and highlands first to avoid large lines. We arrived at the cable car for highlands before a very large group of tourists arrived and William made sure he prepped us with a game plan on how to navigate the cable car station so that we could make our way up before the masses, and it was successful it was a good call. When we went to Batu caves there was not much crowd at all and even though we only had about 1.5 hours there, with the small amount of people there I was able to explore all of the temple and cave area, it was a lot of fun. Also, before we got to Batu caves, William did a great job giving us the history of the place so we know which gods were worshipped in which areas and gave us an idea of what is was all for, it made my experience seeing all the temple that much more special as I was able to give prayers to the right gods for the right things. He also did a good history for the highland but I really appreciated the Batu caves most. He did a good job providing balance of education and funny commentary, and giving us quiet times to relax and enjoy the ride

Marvelous Malacca
Our tour guide Johnson was in constant communication with us and picked us up on time. We were a group of 20 pax and we used a big bus which was comfortable and clean. It's about 2.5 hours drive to Malacca and Johnson narrated a short history of the Straits of Malacca. The first stop was at St Peter's Catholic church and we love this beautiful church with a Marian grotto and Jesus Walking on the Water garden. Then we arrived at Melaka fortress with ruins and canyons. There is a short climbing of stairs to get to the St Francis Xavier statue with its right hand cut off. We really enjoyed walking around the Red Dutch Square, the banks of the river, and Jonker street. Lunch at Anaknyonya was delicious. Overall it was a very good tour and highly recommended.

Great tour with Ayyanar
We had a fantastic 4-hour guided car tour of Kuala Lumpur! Ayyanar did an excellent job—he was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and made the whole experience enjoyable and relaxing. We got to see many of Kuala Lumpur’s highlights while learning interesting facts about the city along the way.
The tour was well organized and a great way to explore KL in a short amount of time. Highly recommended!

KL must do tour!
This tour captures all the essential locations of interest in and around Kuala Lumpur. As first time visitors and only staying for two full days it allowed us to see the sights and then decide what we wanted to re-visit or experience on our second full day.
Our trip began nice and early when Visnu picked us up from our hotel, which was really convenient and then allowed us to visit both the King’s Palace and the Batu Caves before the crowds got really busy. Do not miss the Batu Caves!! A really profound experience and not that far from the city.
We then visited the towers, Petronas and KL. Note that you may have difficulty getting tickets to ascend these towers (if you want to) if you don’t book well in advance - we tried booking over a week before when we were still in the UK and couldn’t get them. That said, it didn’t diminish our experience at all - Petronas in particular is hugely impressive. We returned at night where we were treated to a fabulous ‘dancing fountains’ display which you must see. And if you have loads of money then a mall at the base of the towers will be right up your street.
Visnu took us to the Chinese Market at Petaling Street and we then visited Central Market which has food courts on both floors and where you can get great value food and drink - so that was dinner sorted!!
In the afternoon we visited a number of locations with opportunities for photographs and we returned to our hotel tired but very happy with our day.
A special word for Visnu, a great driver and very friendly and knowledgable local man who made our tour even more enjoyable. Thank you Visnu!! 🙏🏼
We would definitely recommend both the tour and Visnu, especially to newcomers to this amazing city.

For nature lovers
The 3 hour ride (half of which was quite mountainous), was a bit rough on my stomach. However the experience we got out of it was amazing. Especially recommended for people who have a shorter stay in Kuala Lumpur only, so that you can see the country side of Malaysia and its indigenous people and their lifestyles.

most unique KL experience
Melvin was an incredible tour guide. Super knowledgeable and friendly! The experience itself was amazing - the seafood dinner was delicious and it was great to see a different side of KL. The food selection at dinner catered to all tastes, with fish and non-fish options (and incredible flavours). Youre also given time to explore the area. The experience was something we will remember forever, the fireflies and blue tears are something you need to see to believe. We also learnt a lot about Malaysian history and the strait of Malacca.

Must do!
Great day trip! This tour takes you to see a different side of Malaysia, one less hustle and bustle than KL.
Our guide, Kugan, was entertaining organized and punctual. His descriptions about life and customs in Malaysia were informative and humorous.
Maleka is definitely worth a visit and the river cruise allows you to see so much vibrant street art. My favorite part was probably the last part of the day where I could wander into random shops. I picked up a few art pieces and was exposed to many kore vendors.
From a practical standpoint, the vehicle was clean and safe-great driver as well. And everything followed the schedule except a few guests who were repeatedly late (20+ minutes). But that's not the fault of the guides.

100% Worth It! Book it!
100% worth doing this tour. Kuala Lumpur is a very spread out city. This is a quick, easy, stress free way to see all the sights and to have great quality photos from a local with experience. Hafiz was a great tour guide who was very knowledgeable and helpful. He planned the itinerary around the weather approaching in the afternoon. He even had an umbrella for me when it started to rain.

Fantastic food tasting
Fantastic introduction to Kuala Lumpur food and with a fantastic lady Manjeet who was a wonderful very knowledgeable host. I learnt about how their dishes are a blend of Indian Malaysian and Chinese influence and tasted fantastic food in authentic settings. We eve. Went on the train to sample an Indian restaurant that made their curry with noodles. Only issue is when you are just one person too much food. It was a wonderful start to my holiday and Manjet was lovely company. Highly recommend this tour

It was a very good...
It was a very good experience. Our tour guide, Mr Arul, picked us up on time at our hotel. He was explaining very well many details about the attractions we visited. He had very good knowledge about it and gave us the information we needed when we were asking about more details. We visited the Batu Caves, they’re really beautiful and we had the privilege to see and take pictures of the big statue restored. We were able to climb the stairs and visit the great caves. Our visit to East Coast Batik was amazing. We could see how the artists make the beautiful arts in silky fabric and the wonderful final results. We went to visit the National Mosque (Masjid Negara), but we weren’t able to enter because was the prayer hour, we just took pictures from outside. Mr Arul gave us good details about this important attraction. We also went to visit the beautiful Chinese Thean Hou Temple and could even see a bride and a groom! Mr Arul explained that the couples like to go there to celebrate their weddings, that was really nice! We went to visit Little India and other important historical buildings from the time of the British colonization. The last point we visited was The River of Life, where the Kuala Lumpur city received its name. Mr Arul explained more details about this attraction and recommended that we should visit this place at night. It was a beautiful view. Our tour included Chinatown, but we didn’t need to go there, because we already visited this place. We recommend this tour and the tour guide, Mr Arul. He is very friendly and respectful and gives great information about other tours and visits that you can do in this beautiful city and country. We really enjoyed our time in KL and would love to come back to visit it again.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
If you prefer to base in one city rather than switching hotels every day or two, day trips from Kuala Lumpur bring great swathes of Malaysia within reach. From the UNESCO World Heritage-listed city of Melaka to the Cameron Highlands tea plantations and the modern planned city of Putrajaya, there’s culture aplenty. Or take the time to discover nature, whether hiking tropical forests, getting up close and personal with orangutans, or gliding through mangroves thronged with fireflies.
