This group tour will take you on a scenic run around Tokyo’s famous Imperial Palace, an iconic landmark and the heart of the city’s sightseeing attractions. This tour will not take you inside (because you need to apply in advance), but we will run along the promenade around the Imperial Palace, which is about 5k long. The promenade around the Imperial Palace is like a running mecca for runners in Tokyo. The area around the Imperial Palace is exactly the center of Japan, so there are large commercial facilities, government offices, the National Diet Building, and the prime minister’s official residence. Tokyo Station, the gateway to Tokyo, is also in front of the Imperial Palace. The brick building of Tokyo Station is very beautiful, so we recommend taking a picture in front of it. In this tour, we will run not only around the Imperial Palace but also a route that deviates a little from there - nearby spots are the Yasukuni Shrine and Edo Castle

If you want, we'll go to an Japanese restaurant and enjoy the local food.There aren't in any guidebooks. Walk along the side of the "Sousei River" and you'll feel that this smaller river offers a comforting view. After our stroll, we will pass the Nijo fish Market, a historic fish market established over 100 years ago. As we will walk around before eat, please wear comfortable shoes. On the next leg of the tour, we will pass through the immense torii gate and jog along the banks of the Shirakawa River, lined with mysterious weeping willows and small stone bridges. This leads us to Maruyama Park and Yasaka Shrine as we wind down to end our tour at the eastern bank of the Kamogawa with some stretches.
