the Istanbul sunset cruise was wonderful. The small boat setting was perfect for a date night, it was quiet and uncrowded. The small bites were perfect> The tour guided did a great job at explaing what we were seeing, answering questions and sharing the history of the area.

All the details were very helpful from making the reservation online at Viator, to the meeting point and the point of contact, to communication with the team through WhatsApp, and finally the informative and lovely tour with Alpy, Captain and crew. We paid a little extra for the one glass of wine, but Alpy was incredibly generous by always offering more. There was more snacks and more wine, it seemed. Alpy also provided an abundance of information on the rich and meaningful history of the architecture and geography of Istanbul. It’s an interesting perspective of the city when you’re on the3 waterway. He also was very charming, trying to engage those on shore - quite entertaining; it takes a lot to remember and share so much detailed information and perform while being personable. He did it all very well. I’m usually a seasick person, so I stayed in one spot, front middle of the boat behind the captain so that I could have a view of the horizon and the land. I was totally fine. Not an issue at all.

We are so happy that we chose this tour for a comprehensive overview of Istanbul - and moreover we were so grateful to be paired with the best guide, Didem! She was so very knowledgeable - she was especially considerate to let us set the schedule and pace - and she made sure we saw all we wanted to see. She even helped us get to an Ash Wednesday service at the Crimean Memorial Church, and also helped us shop with trusted wholesale merchants for only those things we were interested in, so special! Our experience was made even better with her deep knowledge of the history of her city. She was able to share background, context, and details we never could have gotten trying to see everything while reading from a guidebook. If you are considering booking this tour, do not hesitate - and perhaps you will be blessed as well with our brilliant and warm guide, Didem!!

Best day out ever. We were picked up from our hotel and returned back. We met our tour guide and his name is Shoban best guide ever. He told us everything about all the places we visited . He asked us what we wanted to buy and showed us many stores of our choices. I love Istanbul.

A 10/10 Bosphorus Experience — Beyond Anything I Imagined! I took a Bosphorus cruise with my family in Istanbul last week, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations in every possible way. The moment we set off, the views along the Bosphorus were nothing short of magical — historic palaces, grand mosques, charming waterfront mansions, and the iconic bridges all beautifully framed by the sparkling water. The atmosphere onboard was peaceful, comfortable, and perfectly paced, allowing us to take it all in without feeling rushed. The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive throughout the journey. Their professionalism added a special touch to the experience, and their knowledge about the landmarks and history made the cruise even more enriching. What impressed me most was how well-organised everything was. The boat was spotless, the seating was comfortable, and every detail — from timing to service — was handled flawlessly. It genuinely felt like one of the highlights of my entire trip. This cruise wasn’t just a tour; it was a memory I’ll treasure. The coordinator of this tour reached out the day before about the meeting time and location, specifying our boat will be “ibrahim naral”. When we got there we couldn’t find any boat named ibrahim naral, but eventually someone came check us off the list, and pointed out a boat for us. But it was NOT ibrahim naral, which we later found out was occupied only by another tour group. Also, in the listing it says “free bottled water included”, but when on board they told us it’s 50 lira each…..They did provide free hot tea and biscuits half way though.

Super fun with gorgeous views. Informative and interesting. We were provided with water snacks and fruit, it was a very enjoyable experience as we watched the sun set. Boat was clean and comfortable. Our guide Mr Robert was excellent. There was also a cute dog on board. Would definitely recommend as a nice way to spend the evening.
