Top Galway Bus Tours

We had an excellent day on this tour. The bus was comfortable and the guide was wonderful. We made several spots and had an appropriate amount of time at each spot. Alan, our guide, was an excellent story teller and we appreciated his style of sharing Irish history and giving context while we drove around. Plenty of bathroom breaks, a wonderful spot for coffee/tea, and a nice lunch break made for a very comfortable trip.

If you’re prone to motion sickness, I highly recommend making sure you sit in the front seat and are prepared with gravol, or your choice of anti-nausea medication. The roads are quite windy and the bus is quite bouncy. I am prone to motion sickness and had taken gravel and done what I usually do before getting on a bus of any kind and still got very very motion sick. Our tour guide Anthony was super helpful and very kind. Anthony handled all of the roads with absolute precision and did such an amazing job. He’s very knowledgable about all of the history and fun facts and made a conscious effort to answer all of our questions. The view and the experience at the cliffs was amazing as was the trip home when we stopped at a local pub they were quick and efficient and made it a breeze for everyone to have a pint and a meal before we headed back home. I highly highly recommend doing this excursion if you’re going to do any while in Ireland.

The drive to and from the park and the abbey are as interesting as the abbey. Great way to spend a day outside of Galway. The sign up was confusing - as far as realizing that the trip had two titles, one that mentioned the national park, and one the mentioned the Abbey- but they were the same tour. Would be helpful to clarify that you get to choose going to the national park or going to Kylemore Abbey.
