If you're visiting Galway, book this tour. From the moment we arrived, everything was incredibly well organized. The meeting point was easy to find, making for a stress-free start to the day. Our driver and guide, Gary, was kind, funny, and exceptionally knowledgeable. He shared so much history, local folklore, and fascinating facts throughout the journey that the drive itself became just as memorable as the destinations. The route through the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher was absolutely breathtaking, and we were lucky enough to have mostly good weather with only a brief shower along the way. One of my favourite memories from my entire trip to Ireland was enjoying proper fish and chips by the roadside while sipping a Guinness after taking in the incredible scenery. It's one of those moments I'll never forget. I can't recommend Galway Tour Company highly enough. Ilt is an excellent tour, wonderful scenery, beautiful buildings, AND we were lucky with the weather. Very pleased with the welcome we received and the punctual departure. Last but not least, Mike, our driver/guide greatly enhanced our journey with just the right amount of information, given with warmth and humour.

I mainly booked this trip to go to the national park, but chose the abbey since it was incredibly cloudy. Of course it cleared up while at the abbey. That was a little disappointing. Having to make a decision between two great places can be stressful. I wish they could skip all of the small stops and just stick with the abbey and the NP. But all in all the abbey was absolutely gorgeous and had a beautiful history/story behind it. The bus we took was very tight. The men next to me kept falling asleep on me. As a solo female traveler that was a little uncomfortable. The tour guide Mike was very informative and nice.
