Wonderful and memorable all day outing with our own driver, Pat, who regaled us with veryinteresting stories about local life, and historical backgrounds of places we visited.
It was especially great to have someone else do the driving and give our family a break, to enjoy all the incredible scenery. Connemara is spectacular, especially in good weather, and so glad we did this on our first visit to Ireland! We highly recommend this tour, and our fabulous driver Pat, who made it especially enjoyable with his knowledge and friendly approach. Well worth the cost. Thank you, Pat !!

Hugo was a wonderful guide on our Private Connemara Day Tour. He was very nice to chat with and gave us lots of information. We even made a couple of unplanned stops that were very nice to see. I highly recommend this tour. The celery was beautiful!

DC was an excellent guide. We were able to adjust our itinerary on the fly to accommodate our interests. It was wonderful to have only 4 people in the car rather than being on a big bus.

We enjoyed the Sheep Dog exhibition, the Kilemore Abby and the scenic drives through the fjord and Skye Road. D.C. was a great guide and provided us with helpful information and accommodated our requests. He as even nice enough to give us some tips for the rest of our stay!

This was a nice trip for the most part. The tour guide was awesome and informative along the way. Unfortunately, the trip was marred by terrible weather which, of course, is no one's fault. There was one stop on this route that was disappointing and that was the Kylemore Abbey. It sure looked amazing from the outside but due to the overwhelming number of tour buses, there were lines after lines. Long story short, big time tourist trap. The border collie demonstration was pretty cool and the kids loved playing with the 2 month old puppies.

This was a phenomenal experience. So personal, so interesting and so delightful! Our tour guide, Patrick Curran, was wonderful. As a native of Galway, he was able to share so many details and stories of the area and he had a fun sense of humor. As Patrick noted, we started the tour as customers and ended the tour as friends. First and foremost, we LOVED our driver John from Connemara Chauffeurs. He gave us great suggestions on sites to visit, including Galway Cathedral and an off the beaten path sheepdog experience, Killary Sheep Farm. He also squeezed in other memorable scenic stops. 5 stars +++
