What are people saying about Galway

A memorable, educational and enjoyable adventure!
We spent 3.5 hours with Pat, a local farmer, learning all about the Cliffs of Moher. He not only shared pertinent factual information but also his personal stories of growing up on the cliffs. He was informative, pleasant and funny. All four of us in the group highly recommend this wonderful experience!

Great day!
We had a great time visiting the Cliffs of Moher, traveling through the quaint villages and stopping at the hazelnut shop. Des was so friendly, nice and very informative. The bus stopped several times for us to great pictures. The day flew by! I would highly recommend!

Exceptional Cliffs hike
This was a great overall experience. The hiking is easy to moderate with stunning views all along the way. No tour buses and tourists, it was peaceful and relaxed and so much fun. Our guides were outstanding, Sean and Cearbhuil provided great information, engaging stories, and they were excellent hosts on our tour. I highly recommend.

What a great tour of...
What a great tour of Galway! Neil is a phenomenal storyteller and gave us all the great bits of history of this beautiful waterfront city. Don’t miss it - truly a wonderful hour spent and gives you a good sense of the city before exploring in your own.

Phil was our driver/guide...
Phil was our driver/guide for the day, and he was fantastic. Knowledgeable, funny, and informative. We drove from Galway to the ferry in Doolin, crossed to Inisheer, Took a horse carriage tour, where you saw the amazing stone walls, and a shipwreck. On the way back the ferry went by the Cliffs of Moher. Beautiful. Back to the bus, then drove to see the Cliffs from the top. Again, Beautiful. Stopped at a pub on the way back. It was a full, fun day, made all the better by Phil.

The Ireland I had always imagined
This was one of the highlights of my trip to Ireland. Connemara, Cong and Kylemore Abbey were all breathtaking, but what truly made the experience exceptional was our guide and chauffeur. He was a genuine local with an incredible knowledge of Irish history, culture and everyday life. He answered every question thoughtfully and spoke with honesty, humour and obvious pride in his country.
One of the best moments of the day was something many guides probably wouldn’t think to do. Instead of keeping us on the bus, he let us walk through one of the most beautiful stretches of Connemara while he drove ahead and waited for us. That walk was pure magic. It felt like stepping into every dream and every film I had ever imagined about Ireland, with mountains, stone walls, sheep and endless green landscapes all around us. It gave us time to slow down and truly experience the place instead of just looking at it through a bus window.
This wasn’t just sightseeing. It felt like an introduction to the real Ireland. If you’re deciding between tours, choose this one. It was unforgettable.

Great tour guide
Our guide Arthur has a wealth of information to share about Galway and he made history come alive! Instead of us trying to find historical landmarks by ourselves, Arthur led us to cool sites and gave us awesome background info! As a native of Galway, Arthur has great inside info on Galway's history and he made learning fun for our 13 year old son!

Grand Way to See Galway
We opted for the e-bike tour of Galway to stay away from museum and castle tours and to get a taste of what the people of Galway do for recreation. Felix was a great tour guide and kept us entertained with his stories about the history of Galway and its residents. The weather was grand as they say in Ireland. Strongly recommend this tour.

Wonderful Walking & Tasting Tour
What a great way to start your days in Galway! Getting some history, getting the lay of the land, experiencing the life of a local resident and tasting some excellent food and beer. Sean was a great guide and related done wonderful history and some clever jokes and anecdotes. Also gave us great ideas for drinks, trad music and restaurants. Highly recommend the tour and if you can do it early in your visit, even better.

Candela is a very kind,...
Candela is a very kind, knowledgeable and friendly tour guide - she has excellent energy and charisma, with a great sense of humour; she kept the entire group well informed and entertained throughout the two hour tour. As someone with a strong interest in Irish and Celtic mythology and language, Candela was the perfect guide to introduce some of Galway's most important historical spots, wildlife, and stories behind the architecture. In just two hours people on the tour had enjoyable conversations and insights, and I discovered nice areas of the city to visit. Her tours are highly recommended!

Great, relaxed but engaging tour!
Seán was great! He did a good job of getting people involved and was able to answer our questions. It was fun and interactive. A good mix of history and stories about pagan folklore/ ghosts/ etc. For anyone worried about the amount of walking, it’s an easy walk and pace. It’s a quick tour but a very easy and relaxed one.

Good tour of old town Galway
Our guide, Conor, did a great job telling us about Galway and the history. He was engaging and knew the history well.
We would probably prefer that the tour route be expanded so that we could cover more area during the tour as the actual route was rather short. Otherwise it was excellent
