Excellent experience

We had an excellent experience with our guide José Antônio. Our guide was made in Spanish and we were able to have great communication with the guide. He is the driver, they followed the schedule correctly, they present us the whole story of each place we visited. The visit to the Mosque is very rich and we had the pleasure of accompanying the prayer during the visit. Besides everything, José took our photos with the same quality as a photographer. Ocean travel is a serious company and I recommend it.

Great tour to spend a layover

My husband and i had the pleasure of taking a 5hr layover tour of Dubai with Ali on Oct 21st. He picked us up at the airport and took us to see the spice and gold souks followed by the Dubai Frame and the Zabeel Palace. We visited the Dubai Mall in time to see the Dubai Fountain show as well as a light show on the Burj Khalifa. We took pictures of the Museum of the Future and at the Dubai Marina. Ali even treated us to a snack of shwarma and a local tea before taking us back to the airport. This tour is a great opportunity to be introduced to Dubai on a long layover. If we go back we will start with knowledge of where we want to spend more time. Thanks Ali!

Wonderful Tour

This trip is highly recommandable. There is a huge program in a desert camp wich is reached in on a camel's back. A drone video is taken and sold at a fair price. The mael is extremely tasty but make sure to arrive hungry, if you want to try all of it. Amazing, how the nightsky is visible in the desert and it is very well explained too. Our guide AYAZ explained plenty of additional things about Dubai, the city and the desert. We will repeat this trip during our next stay in Dubai for sure.

A long, fruitful day....

A long, fruitful day. Ghulam Ali was a good guide. Highlights were the Mosque and the Louvre Museum. The palace (which is a Mandarin Oriental Hotel) is an amazing building, but the historical context a bit lost on me. The "date market" was a stop at a single spice/tea/coffee shop similar to 10s of others. Nice people and we dropped some cash, but a more historical introduction to the trading community and types of goods and how they. got there would have been very good. Our car of 6 people waived off the other clearly shopping stop to spend more time at the museum. The stop at Ferrari World is a mystery to me. It was very interesting to go to Yaz Island and see how AD is expanding the world of learning and amusement parks, but the particular stop, again, missed the chance. to emphasize the important points, to me. I think Ali was just doing what he was ordered to do, but the powers that be might rethink some of this. The drive back at night is a herculean task Ali performed well. All is all a good day to be exposed to AD and this amazing country.

We were picked up on time to the minute. The balloon ride was great. We have seen oryx antelopes, camels and of course a beautiful sunrise. The balloon team was professional. After the safe landing we were driven to a beautiful oasis. There we had a wonderful breakfast with fresh orange juice, fruit, scrambled eggs etc. There were also some unexcited Bedouins with their camels, who by the way smelled wonderful, on site. On request it was told that the camels are freshly showered.😅 All staff, from waiters to drivers, were extremely polite and relaxed. As a gift there was a nice, high-quality drinking bottle with the matching logo.
