Enjoyable, but had to wait well over an hour for a bus late afternoon at the Dubai Frame. They only had 2 buses on the red route.

An ideal way of seeing the sights of Dubai especially being able to hop on and off! The staff at various locations were very helpful especially the Sales Agent at the Mall of the Emirates Entrance A was helpful to us in finalising our tickets. Great tour of the city, there are two different bus routes you can take. I did the blue line first which was approximately 2.5 hrs long

Made the mistake of booking a 3 day ticket on the hoho. We have done many all around the world before. I did read some of the reviews, say about being on freeways ( motorways) and I should have took more notice. The roads here are absolutely rammed with vehicles of all sorts. The sites seem to be quite spread out and I thought there was a lack of stops on the loops. I wish the had extra stops near the metro which would allow you to get of if you wanted too.
The metro system is an excellent above ground system. Cheap to use reliable and traffic free. Taxis & Ubers also very reasonable. On the bus bottle water is freely available and included. We did a couple of buses, and on both hardly any of the ear phone jacks were working. Not a good experience for us on the hoho in Dubai.

The bus was on time and the driver was friendly. The stops were great, lots to see on the drive. Space on the open top which was lovely in the sunshine. It was a shame that the first bud we were on though didn’t have the earphone commentary working, which is why I gave 4 stars. On The second bus, the earphones did work. Definitely get off the bus at the Dubai Mall to browse, see the Burj Khalifa, the Souk and fountain show. One of our highlights.

Audio is very poor quality. Noise cancelling headphones would be better than earplugs. Air-conditioning unit was very noisy making it very hard to hear. We hopped on at Emerites Mall and at Dubai Mall we had to get off and change bus. 3/4 way on our tour people were told to hop off onto another bus again so we followed. Unfortunately, those people were from a cruise ship and we ended up at harbour instead of back where we started. Fortunately for us we were only two left on the bus and the driver organised for another bus to meet us along the way and we were able to transfer to get back where we started. Our trip ended up being 3 hours instead of 2. We highly commend the 2 bus drivers at the end of our journey.

Only goes in one direction on all routes, Traffic very heavy and congested especially on and off the Palm, dirty viewing windows in AC room on top deck, very uncomfortable seats. Audio commentator of route at times repetitious and didn’t work consistently and finally, ridiculously over priced!

Not much to see & air conditioning could be improved. Booked for 3 days & only used bus for 1 day. Water provided on the bus is warm and help s in case of dehydration but not cold in a hot environment. The information provided via earphones was inaudible frequently. TX

When we travel, we ALWAYS use City Sightseeing Hop On Hop Off busses. The experience in Dubai was one of the best we’ve had. From the friendliness of the staff and drivers to the informative narration about the history and development of the city, the rides were fabulous. We even sat up top on the heat to get some terrific photos along the way. We did miss some narration as the bus went through tunnels, however this is the only minor criticism we would have of the total experience we used the 72-hour ticket and am so glad we did as Dubai has much to see and do. We wanted a solid intro to Dubai plus an easy way to get between attractions efficiently; HOHO buses in other cities had given us this. In Dubai we found the HOHO option we chose ran every 30 minutes - except sometimes they didn't show up. Their Blue circuit (2.5h) had no stops of interest to us at all, being almost all beach hotels with little apparent access to the actual beach. The commentary was mostly about how wonderful Dubai hotels and bars etc are, very little on actual history and points of general interest. The Red Route (1.5h) was more promising, but we got off to see the Dubai Museum only to find it hasn't reopened since Covid (they could have said!), and the Dubai frame had a 2 hour queue to get in (no thanks). Their app was supposed to show when the next bus was due (not reliable) and lacked any other useful info - eg a photo of what each bus stop looked like in case you were on foot, background info on opening times so didn't get off to find you were too early/late and useful websites for nearby attractions. Their staff were the best part, very helpful, but overall the experience was quite disappointing.
We booked online - only discovered after we arrived there was an alternative HOHO bus service that seemed much more frequent and had better info, we would use them if we ever went again.

None. Too long a wait between buses. The Tours company said there was one every 30 minutes with a red line but that is not accurate. It was a minimum of 50 to 55 minutes between two buses.
Way too frustrating and too just waste of time just waiting.

Enjoyed the A part more than the B. The narrative was good and informative in both. The B tour had too many stops close to each other and for whatever reason waited too long at each stop. We didn’t have that on the A tour.

I was excited the bus picked up right at the cruise terminal and had people helping. They explained the quick shuttle would bring us to the red/blue line first stop. They also said it ran until about 6 Pm. It was quick and easy and got me on the red line. Very nice explanation for the full route,, so I ended at dubai mall, shopped a while, and had to get back to the ship. It was about 4 pm.
I couldn’t find my ticket, but they were able to help with the ticket stored on my phone. They told me to stay on that bus, to go to the shuttle. The driver first stopped at Emereti mall and as I got off, I ask where was the shuttle back to the ship. He said he didn’t know, but I’d have to stay on his full almost two hour route. I didn’t have time. My only choice was to hire a taxi. The line was packed and I got stuck paying $100 dirham for a ride that big bus promised me. By the time I finally got back to the ship, the man at the kiosk was gone. I looked this morning at 7, but no one was there.
Their mistake cost me money.
