Overll great day
AtV are usually not covered by insurance so i was a bit nervous about taking the wheel myself so i opted for sitting behind the tour leader which was great . I felt safe and could take in the views and take pics. The salt mines were particularly impressive (4000) of them. Make sure you have enough warm clothing on as when on ATV can be cold . Some reviews say don't forget snacks bit unless you missed breakfast not necessary as tour ends at 1 pm.

Hubby and I wanted to see...
Hubby and I wanted to see Moray and Maras so adding ATV on the backroads was a welcome change from car or bus. The tour was well run, and we felt safe. In your list of what to bring they mention snack twice, pay attention.

Great Tour! Royer was Awesome!
Royer was a great guide! We had a blast on the ATVs and Royer made the process seamless with great instructions as he led the way. The views are beautiful and stops are super cool, definitely recommend to anyone.

Maras Salt Pools
  • The Maras salt pans are a must-see for all first-time visitors to the area.

  • Bring your camera and sun protection.

  • You may gather your own handful of salt. However, it is best to buy small packages of Peruvian Pink Salt, as it is marketed, at the gift shop.

  • Bring cash, preferably in small bills and coins.

  • Because of the high altitude, be sure to stay hydrated and take it slow. Chewing on coca leaves or drinking coca tea helps alleviate symptoms of altitude sickness.
