Excellent half-day bus tour through eastern portions of Rocky Mountain National Park
The Retractable Glass Top Tour (by Purple Points Tour Company in downtown Estes Park) has an excellent half-day bus tour through the eastern portions of Rocky Mountain National Park. I booked my tour on a particularly clear & warm day (some recent rain also kept the dust on the dirt roads down), so the glass top on our van remained open our entire tour. That made photography and observation of the passing scenery (including a herd of elk) much easier.
Our tour Guide (Chris) was very knowledgeable on the Park's history and how that's reflected in the scenery we were seeing (such as where recent fire burns & floods occurred). We also rode up the the Park's Alpine Visitor's Center via the original one-way dirt road; an experience as we travelled through switchback curves & narrow roads without guardrails but with steep drop-offs to the canyon floors. A much more pleasant way to visit this Park versus trying to drive those roads by yourself.
We were here during the (short) peak visitor times, so the lines on the narrow roads, scenic outlooks & Visitor Center were long. Our guide knew a few of the less crowded stops, so that's where we tended to stop. I'd suggest the early morning tour, as that gets through much of the Park before the larger crowds arrive.
A nice touch from the tour company was beverage & snack service inside the van. Nothing fancy, but you get dehydrated very quickly at these high altitudes. Also one less thing to be carrying around. This is a great way to tour this National Park.

Worth It and We'd Do It Again
Fantastic experience with Amelia from Mountain Waters Rafting. Booking with Viator was easy, and Mountain Waters followed up immediately. Clear, transparent communication the entire way. We did a 1/4 day trip and had a blast. Our guides were funny, safe, and had lots of local knowledge to share.

Really great kayaking...
Really great kayaking trip. Cool to see all the mountains around and just be out in the middle of them. We had a perfect day with no wind, flat water and an empty lake. Brittany, our guide, was amazing. I have don’t lots of outdoors tours and she was one of the best guides I have ever had. Great personality, perfect amount of information, and super engaging. Highly recommend if you want to do something a little different in Colorado.

It was so much fun! Our guide Therese was fabulous. She is so knowledgeable, we learned a lot about RMNP animals, fawns ecosystems. I would definitely recommend! They supply snacks and water so no need to bring anything. It does get windy so bring a sweatshirt.

Kyle was the man! Book Lost Paddle!
Lost Paddle is awesome! I came out to visit my friend in Colorado and we never went white water rafting before. I thought it would be something cool to try out and we both loved it. Kyle was our guide and is very passionate about what he does. Kyle made sure we were safe and knew what to do while having a good time. We had good conversation with him and loved learning about the river and the art of rafting. About halfway through we had an opportunity to swim around to cool off, and jump off a cliff! So rad! My friend and I are definitely going to keep rafting now because we had such a good time. Hopefully we will be back next year and try when the water is high in June! Overall it was such a great experience and we will have that memory forever. Definitely book Lost Paddle!!!

Memorable Tour
Make sure to wear sunglasses, long pants, and a sweatshirt and/or coat (windbreaker) with a stocking hat. It gets cold when you go up the mountains. But the trip is worth it. Breath taking views. Mother Nature at her best! Our guide James was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and experienced. We lost a cellphone along the way and he located it alongside the road while driving. Tour guide of the year! He went above and beyond for our tour for scenery and wildlife. Thank you James for a memorable tour.

Easy paced hike with a great view at the pinnacle.
Lauren is a great tour leader, who is willing to adjust the pace of the hike to accommodate those of us from out pf town who may not be acclimated to the high altitudes in the rockies. All in all, it was a great hike with spectacular views at the peak.

Great day trip
I had an incredible experience with Explorer Tours right out of Denver! The tour took us to Pikes Peak, where the mountain views—snow-capped and breathtaking—were absolutely unforgettable. Then, we explored the Garden of the Gods, which gave us a totally different but equally stunning landscape—those iconic orange rock formations were surreal. It felt like two awe-inspiring worlds in one day. And a big shoutout to Robert, our guide—he made the whole trip even better! If you’re visiting Denver, this tour is a must!

Such a fun afternoon!
This whiskey and history tour was amazing! Our guide was super knowledgeable, funny, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. The mix of fascinating stories, hidden spots, and great whiskey tastings was perfect. We had the best time—definitely recommend this tour!

Easy going float on the beautiful river.
Family friendly floating on the river. Beautiful scenery. They tried to upgrade us to the less-family friendly float. That float is a few miles longer (they start higher up on the river) but the floating time is equal. We were just happy with the simple version.
Including a stop at a natural hotwater (really hot!) spring for a little soak.
They make beautiful pictures from the sideways. You can buy them for 36 USDollar (1 photo) up to 86 USDollar (all of them, over 20 photos). Too expensive for me.
The starting time is 10 am, and NOT 9 AM as advertised by Viator. So we had to wait an hour in front of the building...

Great experience!...
Great experience! Burley, our guide was amazing. So friendly and knowledgeable. I recently had TKR and he took the time to walk us up as smooth and level pathways as possible to make sure we had great photo ops. My husband steve, who would rather be watching sports than anything else said he was so surprised with the tour. Had no idea it was going to be that good. Thanks again Burley for a great day!! Would highly recommend!!
