Great Cayman Island Experience

We had a great time! Three adults two kids, 12 and 14. Captain Sheldon was a great captain, bonus points for being a Green Bay Packer fan💚💛💚💛. His first mate did everything to set us up for our experiences and kept us hydrated. The instructions at each sight were very clear which made it a fun time for all. Highly recommend this trip.

We had a fantastic time...

We had a fantastic time on the Sting Ray City/Rum Point Beach tour. Sting Ray City was so awesome even though the water was really choppy that day which I know made things difficult, especially for the tour guides. Rum Point Beach was slightly underwhelming, but still a cool spot and not enough to take away from the overall experience. The guides were really truly fantastic and it was an awesome day.

Excellent Trip!

The trip with highland experience tours was amazing. Tour guide John was funny, thoughtful and helpful. He managed to strike a good balance between Scottish history, music and quieter times. He added quite a few photo stops based on the weather conditions. I appreciate him going above the itinerary to make it a memorable experience. Couple of things to note though is that as with any long tours, some of the sights had to be rushed up a bit. Time in Portree could easily be extended by another 30 mins to relax. Another major point that I wish they consider is that of picking up people from different stays. They have put our group on 3 stays across Inverness. The pickup on both the days started from the same stay which unfairly disadvantaged us who were on stay 2 and 3. Sadly, the 1st stay had more people and hence we were left with the few seats in the last and couldn’t sit together which is not right as all of us pay the same price. To avoid this, they should either put everyone on the same place of stay or pick up everyone from the same spot or start from the stay where less people are staying. Anyways, we managed to check with the guide and walked over to the 1st pickup point on day 3 to ensure at-least we sit together. Apart from this, everything was great!

perfectly planned tour from start to end. Great driver/guide full of interesting storys of Inverness and the Highlands. A entertaining sail on the Loch Ness to the ruins of urquhart Castle and a visit af the Loch Ness experience center. all with plenty time to enjoy and explore the stops. and at the end an added visit to some highland cows, an unexpected but fantastic bonus.

Bioluminescence experience feels out of this world!

This was well worth the time. Kids were apprehensive about swimming in the dark and unsure what they would see or experience. Best way to describe it is: Blown Away. The boat ride and Starfish Point - fine, acceptable, no problems. But once you walk down the stairs into the bio-bay? Magic. The bioluminescence is incredible. Want big clouds? Wave your hands and feet. Want to see the real magic: go under the hull/tunnel and move your hands slowly in front of your face. The slower you go, the more dramatic the effect of the phytoplankton gets!

Private Boat tour with swimming with Stingrays and seeing Starfish in Grand Cayman.

We were a family of 6 who booked this private tour to swim with the stingrays and to see starfish. Mark whom was our captain and guide let us decide where to go and how long we stayed at each stop. We even went snorkeling and saw many beautiful fish. It was easy enough to get a taxi to go to the other side of the island for this tour. ( approx 15 min ) in the morning. Allow more time to get back to the ship in the afternoon as we had 5 ships in port and everyone was attempting to get back to the ship the same time. Our captain Mark was great he had us call the taxi company on his phone, when we were 10 mins out from docking making sure we arrived back in time for the ship. We all had a great day and would do this again in a minute when we are back in Grand Cayman.

Great experience and easy to coordinate! Pickup from the hotel and drop off was seamless. Everyone was so friendly. You spend the most time at stingray city, then snorkel and then starfish point. Starfish point was okay and someone did get stung by a jellyfish so just be on the lookout. Water is gorgeous and we even considered booking the excursion again the next day.

Captain Marvin's stingray tour

Requires 30 min boat ride to reefs and stingray sandbar. Can be difficult for people with mobility issues, need to climb up ladder to get in/out of boat. Captain Casper was wonderfully attentive and entertaining, Jimmie and Fred were very friendly and helpful. Fantastic excursion!

Couldn’t recommend any more!!! My mum and I were in Edinburgh for her 70th birthday. I booked this just before we came. I so incredibly happy we did. It was one of the best trips I have ever done!!! Don’t get me wrong we were so blessed with great weather. I get that but wow. Chris made it for us… great driver, so Informative, fantastic sense of humour too!! Actually, Exceeded Expectations

The one-hour cruise fully met my expectations for our adventure on the waters of Loch Ness. While it's getting chilly this time of year (and I'd suggest a lined wind-breaker or other waterproof jacket with a hood), the upper deck was manageable. If it hadn't been, the fully enclosed lower deck would have accommodated all of us comfortable. Polite crew, good navigating, interesting lessons on the public-address - just right!

I think that Steven (from Inverness) was a fantastic driver. He was very accommodating the entire time. At the Fairy Pool I couldn’t walk that much, so Steven took me and my husband to a Pixie Pool (smaller version of Fairy Pool). He got out with us and physically escorted me up the path to see it!!! He was FABULOUS!!! Great excursion, would definitely do again, but only if my guide was Steven!! 😊
