Half of the experience you have is i.m.o. the guide you have on your particular excursion. Ours was one of the ‘coolest’ we had since a long time. From the beginning he was clear about basic rules (strict about time(lines) but so flexible with the rest. He gave us the perfect tour of the Cape of Good Hope with the necessary information, and brought with a touch of humor, which I could appreciate. Rodney was our ‘guide of the month’ .

A Highlight of our Visit to Cape Town

May 2026, we had a fantastic day with our driver and guide, Angelo. He was very friendly and interactive with our entire small group. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting with cheese and chocolate and the scenery while travelling was spectacular. Angelo was obviously well versed in wines and wine making and his fun and respectful personality made for an unforgettable day. We would highly recommend this tour and if you’re lucky you will have Angelo as your guide.

First of all our tour guide Mireille was fantastic and she kept the whole group on time for each venue we were at or headed to. The experience of Seeing Table Mountain and The Cape of Good Hope along with the Penguins was amazing. I’d recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see all these amazing sights. It is a long day but so worth it!!!

Excellent Tour Operator...Opt for the Private Safari Vehicle if available!

Excellent communication from the tour operator. We recommend this tour provider because they facilitate you pre-paying for your safari to guarantee there will be a seat for you timed with your arrival at Aquila. We opted for the private safari vehicle, and thought it was worth the up-charge. We really enjoyed the wine/coffee stop on the way to Aquila. It nicely broke up the drive, and allowed us to get to know the other couple in our transport van (NOTE: private safari vehicle does not mean private transport from/to Cape Town). Our only wish was that we had more time for the buffet lunch...we were only allowed 45 minutes for bathroom and buffet before our safari departure (and with multiple safari vehicles going out at the same time, there were some lines). You should be aware this is a small game reserve with not a ton of animals. We were aware of this going in, but due to flooding rains during our visit, all of our other safari tours along the Garden Route were canceled, so we opted for the only day trip available from Cape Town. We saw some things on our private safari vehicle the other couple in our transport van did not see on their group vehicle. Not sure if it was just timing or if our private driver was able to alter his driving path better to see more. Our tour transport driver James/Jamie was on time, informative, and pleasant company on the journey.

Best views and experience in Africa

This was a special experience. We spent a week in South Africa and this was our last experience. It made our entire trip. What a memorable ending to a wonderful experience. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for the most gorgeous views in all of South Africa and anyone who enjoys the best wine in the world. 10/10!!

Not really fans of wine but my partner and I would rate this experience a 20/10….. The fun part of it was meeting and interacting with different people❤️ loved it fr our guide although I can't remember his name was perfection…. Thank you to him he was in the rain with us that day (6th may 2026) and did it all smiling❤️

Excellent all roand

Really good comprehensive tour; ran smoothly from beginning to end - apart from the temperamental weather on Table Mountain. Not a problem for Nathan and Ben who managed everything with patience and humour. They merely carried on with the tour returning later to Table Mountain once the weather improved enough for us to go up. Worked well as a team with knowledge, consideration and good driving. :)

Definitely One of The Highlights of Our Busy Trip

Wild X Atlantis Quads - CPT Right out of the gate I’ll say that this was one of the best ATV tours our 5 riders have been on! Most of us had previously selected Cabo as being the best. The key difference being the height of some of the dunes, the beauty and the low level of dust in the air. We barely got dirty! Experience details: ⁃ It was very easy to book via Viator if you did so early. We had a few last minute add ons and they had trouble getting a confirmation before we left for the dunes. ⁃ Price was fair. They offered better promotions about 2 weeks before our date. ⁃ Transportation is not provided so you’re on your own. We called an Uber for what was a 45 min ride. Leave early! Be careful with the Uber rides because our driver told us we probably wouldn’t be able to get a ride back because of the isolated location and offered us an outrageous price to wait and return. We took our chances because he wanted 4x what we paid to get out there. We did find an Uber van that happened to be there afterwards and it was for a fair price. Phone signals can be iffy out there. ⁃ The beauty of the white sand dunes is off the charts. No, there is no water nearby so you won’t have that in your pictures. ⁃ Tour guide- was chilled and laid back. Gave us an adequate briefing based on our experience levels. There was no problem with getting your fun on in this high paced ride. We stopped maybe twice however because of ATV issues. Thankfully he was able to get them changed out very quickly. They also let you bring your phones along so you can shoot photos at various stops. He even offered to shoot motion video with one of the phons and it came out studio quality. ⁃ Paperwork will need to be filled out before you start. It is basically waivers of course. ⁃ No food or water is provided but I did see places at the meet point where you could buy things. ⁃ We would definitely recommend WildX and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again. ⁃ Although the dust levels are at a minimum, I would definitely recommend bringing some type of face cover and nice fitting shades. There are face shields but I left mine up most of the ride ⁃

A must visit.

We had the most glorious day with Joe, driving us, he was very knowledgeable and helpful. The weather was excellent, and we were very lucky to see the huge array of animals. Lions and elephants were particularly breathtaking and so close! The views from both the Lodge site and the park were wonderful and we could not have been treated better by everyone we met. The lunch was most enjoyable and plenty for every different palate. We were not rushed at all and the actual park tour was very informative.
