Each of these statues tells a local legend or reflects on the neighborhoods around them. We will explore as many statues as possible, and in between, you'll also have the chance to learn about the city and visit some of its attractions. We start our tour on the Pest side and finish on the Buda side at a central location from where it’s easy to return to the city. This tour is always a small group tour since the transportation is with a 7-seat van. We will go to the Castle Hill by car and we we will have an enjoyable walk there reaching all our landmarks in the area. The Castle Hill area specially around the FISHERMAN'S BASTION is very busy during the day but in the evening hours it can be enjoyable for those who want to avoid crowds. You will learn a lot about the history of this area and your guide will be more than happy to answer all your questions too. If you are looking for the absolute highlight of Budapest and want to experience a bit of urban nature as well and a spiritual side of the city, this is the tour for you. We start by visiting one of the most unique churches in town: the cave church, hewn into Gellert Hill. While part of it is man made indeed, the general atmosphere takes you back to the early days of Christianity, when the church was hiding from public.
