Perfect Day Tour !

I had an excellent experience with this private tour to the Great Wall and Summer Palace. From the start, the company was incredibly thoughtful. I mentioned I was travelling with my parents, and they surprised us with a complimentary vehicle upgrade, which made the day even more comfortable. Our guide, Bobo, was fantastic. Shewas knowledgeable, engaging, and fully bilingual, which made a huge difference. My parents speak and understand Chinese, while I don’t, and Bobo handled everything seamlessly so all of us felt included and well-informed throughout the day. The entire trip was smooth, well-organised, and stress-free. From transport to timing, everything was handled perfectly, allowing us to just enjoy the experience. We had a fantastic tour with Cathy over 2 days in Beijing. Cathy’s knowledge on Chinese history, culture and modern day workings was exceptional and added so much to the tour which we really appreciated and made it so enjoyable! We were a group of 3 women travelling to Beijing together. We wanted to see as much as we could in the 2 days we had available. From the moment I booked this VIP tour with Cathy it has been a brilliant experience. Cathy’s accessibility, knowledge and kindness has been the best I’ve experienced by a tour guide and I have travelled a lot! The pick up at 8:30am from our hotel lobby with a clean, new very comfortable people mover with a safe and calm driver it was a dream of a trip. We visited all the sights listed and our highlights were The Great Wall, Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven. The VIP rings true for this tour as we did not wait in lines, Cathy knew all the shortcuts and best places to be positioned, she is super efficient in all of the organisation of the tour and it was a seamless experience! The two lunches on both days were delicious, authentic and had loads of options. The tour was well paced and accommodated a 75yr old well and Cathy listened really well to us. Highly recommended to anyone who wants have the best experience in Beijing!

Solid Beijing highlights tour

Fantastic all-day Beijing highlights tour! Bruce was a kind, down-to-earth guide who made the day smooth and enjoyable. He gave just the right amount of history and context at Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Great Wall of China. The jade shop stop and tea tasting were nice additions without feeling pushy. Overall, a well-run, informative tour. Highly recommend Bruce!

Must do when visiting Beijing

Lisa was such a great host. She handled all the arrangements, tickets, lunch, etc all ahead so everything was seamless. We had a day packed full. She offered so much information on the history. Highly recommend. Wear good walking shoes, bring sun screen and cool clothing if hot weather is expected, there is limited shade.

Awesome trip to the Great Wall

My guide, Lili, was very attentive and considerate. We did the tour with some elderly people, and she was always looking out for them. She also gave us a lot of interesting information about Beijing and the Great Wall. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend her for future stays in Beijing.

Henry was an amazing guide with true golden retriever energy! I could tell he genuinely had a lot of passion as a tour guide showing us around. There were many things I appreciated: him recommending we leave our bags at the hotel, which helped us skip over a 45 minute security line. Or him talking about the basic details of the palace in a simple and engaging way, like what each building did (and which the palace signs themselves omitted). And finally, his assurance that we would finish everything with lots of time in the afternoon, which put my girlfriend’s mind at ease. I really think going by ourselves with a guide would have been a vastly poorer experience, and we have Henry to thank for that!)

The experience to the forbidden city was of course memorable. Our Guide was informative and extremely helpful. The day was busy with many larger tour, however with the help of our Guide’s knowledge of the sites we were able to find ways of avoiding the worst of the crowds and using short cuts to avoid many of the queues. We had a fantastic day at the Mutianyu Great Wall with our driver Jack. We are traveling with two young kids (6 and 9), and he made the whole experience stress-free. He was punctual, drove very safely, and his knowledge of the Great Wall's history was impressive—he really helped bring the site to life for us. He was patient with the kids and helped us navigate the tickets and cable car. If you want a reliable and friendly driver in Beijing, he is the one to book!

Sofia was our tour guide....

Sofia was our tour guide. She was excited to show us around the Forbidden City and patient in responding to questions. Once past the security checks, it took about 10 minutes for Sofia to collect everyone's tickets and rejoin the group. Once inside the complex, she explained the details in the architecture, made sure we stuck together as a group, and gave me enough time to click pictures and catch up with the rest of the group. The group entered through the East gate and I believe I exited on the North side, which opened up to Jingshan Park. I recommend this tour!

We had such a great time and experience with our tour guide Christine. She was super sweet, attentive, and made everything so easy and enjoyable for us. She took us to the Panda House and the Great Wall of China, and made both experiences even more special with her knowledge and friendly vibe. This is a beautiful part of the wall to visit, offering a great 6km hike, and fewer crowds than parts of the wall closer to Beijing. Jackie was a great driver, and it was very convenient to hire someone if you’re short on time as this part of the wall is 2-2.5 hours from Beijing.
