Great day at terracotta warriors
We had excellent driver Mr Zhao pick up that brought us breakfast! It was very good. The instructions to get the train were easy to follow, we had pictures! The train was fast and comfortable. Chris’s picked us up and drove us to the terracotta site. She throughly explained everything. She is fun and professional. She made this tour really educational and interesting. We also got a gift! Cathy Lu at meta tours. Well worth the cost.

Amazing trip to great wall
We had an enjoyable trip to the Great Wall. John did a great job as a guide. He provided an interesting history about the Great Wall on the bus ride and provided sound advice on navigating the Wall. The entire trip was well organized and worry-free. The wall itself was strenuous but lived up to the hype and a must-see for any tourist visiting Beijing. The wall had breathtaking views and was overall an amazing experience.

Vivian was an amazing...
Vivian was an amazing tour guide, who brought so much humor, energy, and care to the experience. She was very clever about how to navigate lines & crowds, hooked us all up with the best angles for photos, and was flexible with the preferences of folks in the group. My friend and I were very interested in the history of the sites we saw, and Vivian was eager to answer our questions and discuss fine details. We adored her!

Helen is the best!
The title says it all. Our tour guide, Helen, was one of the sweetest people I met in China. Not only was she incredibly well-informed about every site we visited, but she also made sure we were able to see everything while avoiding the crowds whenever possible. She always ensured everyone had the opportunity to ask questions, answered them thoroughly, and made sure no one was left behind. The day our tour group was scheduled to visit Tiananmen Square, it was unexpectedly closed due to a government event. As a result, we had to change our itinerary and head to the Great Wall of China immediately after visiting the Forbidden City. Helen took this completely in stride. She guided us through the Forbidden City, providing detailed historical information and cultural context, while simultaneously working behind the scenes to solve the problem. She was able to arrange for members of our group to visit Tiananmen Square the following day. A few of us explained that we were leaving the next day and wouldn’t be able to make the scheduled visit to Tiananmen Square. We asked if it would be possible to go after returning from the Great Wall. Helen graciously explained that our tickets were for the morning and that it was unlikely we would be able to get into the square later in the day. Even so, she told us she would still try. After dropping off the rest of the tour group, Helen went out of her way to take us to Tiananmen Square. Thanks to her persistence and determination, a few of us were able to get in that same day. Throughout the entire process, it was clear Helen is the best!!
