What are people saying about Beijing

Great Trip
It was great and provided a ton of context for everything we saw! It made the trip so much more interesting so when we wandered around after we were looking for things that we had learned. Was the perfect length, wasn't too long that we didn't have time to explore on our own.

Amazing trip to great wall
We had an enjoyable trip to the Great Wall. John did a great job as a guide. He provided an interesting history about the Great Wall on the bus ride and provided sound advice on navigating the Wall. The entire trip was well organized and worry-free. The wall itself was strenuous but lived up to the hype and a must-see for any tourist visiting Beijing. The wall had breathtaking views and was overall an amazing experience.

Helen is the best!
The title says it all. Our tour guide, Helen, was one of the sweetest people I met in China. Not only was she incredibly well-informed about every site we visited, but she also made sure we were able to see everything while avoiding the crowds whenever possible. She always ensured everyone had the opportunity to ask questions, answered them thoroughly, and made sure no one was left behind.
The day our tour group was scheduled to visit Tiananmen Square, it was unexpectedly closed due to a government event. As a result, we had to change our itinerary and head to the Great Wall of China immediately after visiting the Forbidden City. Helen took this completely in stride. She guided us through the Forbidden City, providing detailed historical information and cultural context, while simultaneously working behind the scenes to solve the problem. She was able to arrange for members of our group to visit Tiananmen Square the following day.
A few of us explained that we were leaving the next day and wouldn’t be able to make the scheduled visit to Tiananmen Square. We asked if it would be possible to go after returning from the Great Wall. Helen graciously explained that our tickets were for the morning and that it was unlikely we would be able to get into the square later in the day. Even so, she told us she would still try.
After dropping off the rest of the tour group, Helen went out of her way to take us to Tiananmen Square. Thanks to her persistence and determination, a few of us were able to get in that same day. Throughout the entire process, it was clear Helen is the best!!

The tour was fantastic,...
The tour was fantastic, and Keith was very welcoming and an excellent tour guide. Thanks to this trip, we avoided the crowds and were almost completely alone at the Great Wall. Just a few hours later, it became extremely crowded, so the early start was definitely worth it. We stopped at a restaurant for lunch, and the food was delicious. The entire trip was comfortable, well organized, and luxurious. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a more peaceful and enjoyable Great Wall experience. One small suggestion for improvement would be to include more information about China, its history, and the Great Wall during the drive. A short 5–10 minute video or presentation would add valuable context and make the experience even better.

Jinshanling, Gubei with Chris
Chris provided my wife and I with such a great experience. He took us to jinshanling and Gubei water town which took a full day. We ate breakfast and lunch together and he helped us try local favourites and experience Beijing cuisine. Chris is very kind and friendly, and does everything he can to provide the best possible experience.

Great tour of the great wall
This was a small group tour that ended up being a private tour when the other family cancelled. We got picked up and dropped off at our hotel, which was so nice, and driven to the Badaling section of the wall. Our guide, Murphy, was really good and went up the wall with us (going up in the gondolas is an extra charge). We stopped by the Ming Tombs, then had a buffet lunch of traditional Chinese food at a spot where all the tour companies go. Just keep in mind that there will be pressure to see the jade and tea products after, but we declined and there was no problem doing that. Overall, this is a great way to go see a very popular and beautiful section of the wall.

Beijing Magic
I commend the great expertise of Lee, our tour guide. He is fun, eloquent in English and knows the history, culture, and every story of each site visited. I super enjoyed this entire tour, from the Great Wall, to the palace and Tinanmen square to a side trip at Jade house and Chinese medicine and the SUMPTUOS LUNCH. It is a whole day trip but it feels greqt to explore the prime destinations that offer hidden gem of beauty, human artistry and craftiness. I enjoyed the cable ride and the walk to the wonder of the world. May is the best time to visit here because of colder breezy air against the scorching heat of the sun. Price is very affordable. Thank you Mr. Lee and this Tour operator. The driver was also good. Our mode of communication was whatsapp and wechat and the entire group (7 of us from UK, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Scotland and Canada) felt very comfortable, relaxed and entertained. 10 out of 10.

I had a great time seeing...
I had a great time seeing the Forbidden City with Rita. I was the only person who showed up for my time slot, so I had a private tour all to myself! She shared lots of interesting stories about the history of the Imperial Palace, the succession of emperors, daily life inside the walls, political intrigue, and more. I feel like I learned a ton, more than I expected. There were a lot of interesting artifacts on display, and even though some spots were quite crowded, people cycled through fast enough that I was able to get a good picture of everything I wanted.

Great evening
Wonderful introduction to some of the super tasty foods specific to Beijing! We really enjoyed our time with Joe our guide, who told us a lot about the food we were eating and some history of the city as well. Walking through the small streets in the area of Shichahai was an added bonus to a night of great food.

Absolutely don’t miss this!
If there is one thing and just one tour you can do in China, this will be it. Absolutely perfectly organised tour. Started with a steep climb of 1000 steps and then the entire hike was so easy. We saw so may coming from the opposite direction who really struggled. Great views, no rush in the initial sections, great for pictures too. We are also vegetarian and they had organised excellent Chinese food for us. Really loved it. Special mention to our most wonderful guide David (Dewit) absolutely fantastic guy! Really enjoyed the tour because of him. Gave us lot of time too! 5 stars for him!

High-level cultural visit
The tour was very enriching. My guide, Miko, provided a great level of information about the history of the place and of China. I highly recommend this guided tour. The Temple of Heaven is much more than just a pretty place for photos; we must respect its history.

Amazing Wall Experience
Just got home from this tour.
The tour was an amazing experience. My guide was Jennifer, who had such a pleasant vibe and made sure we were all comfortable. She accompanied us to the wall, shared information on history and gave us free time to experience the wall by ourselves. She also purchased the tickets for the cable car and toboggan slide which was super great and convenient cuz it saved us time and the hazzle of purchasing it ourselves. We also got to know more about the jade and its culture in China which was super interesting. The lunch was amazing! The food was great. And in addition got to the tea ceremony which we all loved! Very very good. Perfect to immersive and getting to enjoy more about Chinas culture. Thank you Jennifer, you were amazing, sweet and very very friendly. We had an amazing time

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Beijing day trips offer a unique opportunity to explore beyond the city’s most famous sites and dive deeper into China’s rich history. Just two hours from the capital, you can walk along the iconic Great Wall of China—an ancient fortification still standing after thousands of years. Beyond the Wall, day trips take you to other major cultural landmarks, such as the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, and the Temple of Heaven, offering a mix of history, culture, and natural beauty along the way.
